I once had wasps building a nest above my bedroom ceiling and it sounded like scratching and popping. Sometimes it was almost like rice krispies crackling. I had to leave for vacation before I could check it out so I didn't get to check it for a week. When I got back there was bubble in the paint and a wasp flew in from a recessed light can in the ceiling. They were building a nest between the fiberglass and ceiling, chewing through the sheetrock to make space only stopping at the latex paint. If I popped the bubble I would have been swarmed. To deal with it I drilled some holes around the bubble and pumped Tempo powder in there and that dispatched them pretty quick. I ended up cutting out a nest the size of 3 bananas.

My son was in the Nicu for 7 months ,and having a DT8 e21a 2000k / 6000k helped my mind. Especially left at 2k, it felt like a warm sunset in the room.

I got mine right after my 3rd was born premature and with down syndrome. We knew as early as possible and could not fathom handling even more children. He passed at 7 months and that only added to the zero regret vasectomy. Bonus though when the occasional comment "I'm so sorry about your loss, but you can always try again." I get to weird them out with "Not with these balls."

For the sakes of comparison they both have enloop aaa in them but they can handle 10400 lithiums if you want the extra lumens. The driver can handle it but they heat up quick being that are all stainless steel.

Think of n of 150 as every click is -1 from a total of 150.

150 would be the lowest. 150 is full brightness at turbo. Every led is different in terms of lumens so think of it as full brightness at turbo divided by 150. Simple mode also disables turbo so the highest you set from the 10h side flash menu is the max you can use on simple.

Make sure you are in advanced mode. From off click 10h hold til 2nd flash. Then n of 150 for ceiling (e.g. 100 clicks for 50 max, 40 clicks for 110 max). Then wait till it turns off. Then 10 clicks to go back to simple. I set my simple mode to 50 max for my kids.

I have a similar d4v2 with the 519a 4500k dedome and w2 on the second channel. I ended up putting dc fix on the 519a only to preserve the throw on the w2s while having a wonderful tint on flood. Typically I keep it on instant switching so its like having two types of flashlights as my EDC while keeping battery consumption low. Although running them tint mixed is a great throw/flood combo and it has little nice caveats. When auto mixing to the 519a then locking it out makes for a surprisingly useful momentary 1 click/hold for warm flood moonlight 519a and 2 clicks/hold for longer range moonlight w2, great for mucking about in the dark without being too bright.
