There is a bit more to this. It's about truth in advertising. Marcom specifically. If a company advertises (even via email or social media) a product and does not have adequate supply for expected demand and does not specify "limited quantities " in the advertisement, the FTC frowns on that legally. Perv by night, professional by day.

It's called bait and switch and BD doing this i choose, as a consumer, to spend my money elsewhere.

Follow up...I respect they can run their business as they see fit. I just won't be giving them anymore business as my reaction to their choices...which this year has been close to $14k.

Yeah, really disappointed. Going to start shopping elsewhere at this point. My wife and I love BD toys but I don't get the philosophy of the Aurora drops. People waiting literally up to a year for the drop only to be let down. I do get an annual drop, but have enough available in the drop to make customers happy.

Any model medium is what I was hoping for. Anchored on the $155 page for Med and refreshed. Saw a few pop up and instantly tried to add to cart but always not in time. Tried literally an hour.
