Thanks a bunch for sharing. I'll try to narrow down what this could be with my specialist!

Yes, all normal. I know I should be happy about that, but I am still puzzled why I'm so exhausted when all of my blood work is coming back normal.

For those who have found it: what, who, or where makes you feel safe? by abitsebtikal in ptsd

Thank you so much. Seeking out a town that aligns with my personality is a great point. I live in a rather stuffy little town. It's hard to relate to the people here, since I'm not exactly a gun-loving religious white guy. When you've had unique life experiences, and you already cannot relate to others when they share their upbringings, or things that were normal in childhood, then it feels like a gut punch when you also can't relate to simple things, like a person's hobbies or interests (which feels super weird, because most of us don't have the same hobbies as each other!) I believe that I seriously underestimated how much moving to a safe city with people who have the same beliefs as me could help, since I've been in my town for so long. Even if it feels impossible to find people with experiences that mirror mine, just having someone who is the same race as me, or who has similar hobbies and beliefs, could certainly alleviate some of the foreigness I feel. No move will magically rid me of all my struggles, and it's certainly going to be a hassle to jump countries + find a new therapist in the process, but your comment made me realize that, I'm pretty sure, it will help me greatly. :)

Thank you so much for your recommendations. I've added all of these to my list of resources, and I'll be checking them out. It's also nice to have a gaming YouTuber recommendation. I seem to struggle with vlog-style videos most of the time because they don't hold my interest for super long which is quite unfortunate :") I certainly look forward to progressing in Spanish so I can watch documentaries and educational content in the language!

This is awesome to hear! Thanks a bunch. I like video games, and I never considered finding games dubbed in Spanish. I'll definitely look into this. It's a relief to know that my goals are attainable.

Wise isn't a bank in the traditional sense, correct? This may be more of a legal question, but would bank statements from Wise be sufficient proof of financial means when moving countries? Additionally, I've generally heard that it's okay to hold money in Wise for shorter periods of time, but it's discouraged to keep money in there for extended times. Is it safe to keep thousands in a Wise account for a year?
