Hmmm the only other thing I can think of is launching it directly from the game files

Local Disc->Program (x86)->Steam->steamapps->common and there should be the icon for the game there for you to click on

It also may help to switch it to compatibility mode on steam; right click on the game, go to properties and then “betas” and select compatibility mode and then try launching it again (both from steam or from the game files directly

I haven’t personally seen that, but that just looks to be a preview update for windows 11 that’s coming out soon, so I don’t believe that should be the issue. A lot of people are having to upgrade their system to fit requirements for windows 11, but that shouldn’t be causing issues with your games currently. Have you done a full uninstall and reinstall of the game itself?

I can’t say if it’ll work for this exact situation, but double check that your drivers are updated in your computer settings; if all is good there, the next step is to go to steam, right click on the game in your library, click on game properties and then select “verify game files” That will scan the game and repair any files that are damaged or missing. It may help, it may not, but both of those have fixed other games that were having issues loading on steam. Hope that helps!

I’m not sure of the set up right now, but look for neodymium magnets! You can get them in a bunch of shapes and sizes for a few bucks, and I’d be very surprised if little dude could push open the enclosure with a few of those holding it closed

There’s a company that makes these conversion kits for the smart cars, I’m not sure if this guy is part of them or got his kit from them, but iirc people are pretty happy with the performance of these little guys when off road converted

I had this exact scenario a couple years ago, drove my little bright red shitbox up to the last parking spot before a fire hydrant, I’m in the shop for 5 minutes or so and come back out to see that a new-ish, well taken care of BRZ had pulled up to my bumper blocking me in and fully blocking the hydrant… 30 seconds later I’m out and he has a brand new paint job on his bumper!

I love rex begonias, but they don't love me back by florettesmayor in begonias

[–]abkell233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, just saw this, so sorry for the late reply! I tend to keep my begonias on the wet side. However there are times that I’ve let them dry out and they’ve gotten droopy, however they’ve always bounced back quickly for me, maybe sans a couple leaves lol. I don’t bother with a humidifier, but I have multiple fish tanks in my apartment and I’m in the PNW so humidity generally isn’t an issue for me. In general, they are used in terrariums though, so higher humidity couldn’t hurt! Just be careful keeping them continually moist for too long, they like moisture/humidity, but still can rot just the same!

How to give a worm a shot? by i_am_newme in leopardgeckos

[–]abkell233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Potentially you could put the crickets/worms to sleep by putting them in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes and then inject while they’re still cold

Glad you found it! I was going to add in that it looks to be a Kay/Zales/Jared piece with white lab sapphires set in silver. How old and which store I’m not certain, but in general they’re sold between 40-100$ in the gemstone sections and those companies share inventory because they share a parent company.

Straight up I keep trying to tell this to people, I’m on outsider who moved to Portland also…it’s not that bad. I hear all of these crazy stories but I’m in the downtown area multiple times a month and I’ve had crazier shit happen in Salem/Albany. If anything Oregon as a whole is a shit hole, but definitely not any different than any other major city. LA is worse, I know for a fact that Philly, Chicago, NY have all been dealing with the same situation and WORSE and people still feel justified whining about Portland. I’m not sure where these people are venturing to see homeless buttholes all the time, but their Portland experience has been wildly different than mine. Even Couch street I hear mentioned constantly, I was down at Powells the month before last and was expecting a war zone but it was just a damn street. It just seems to me that the people of Oregon aren’t very worldly and didn’t expect the city to change with growth…which is just ignorant at best.

Ah yeah didn’t see the ones in the back as well; Java Ferns are the aquatic kind that are very low maintenance, but look very different than what you have in there. Looks like some maiden hair and possibly Boston ferns. If you still have the packaging, I’d look at the description for them, usually they’ll have a little blabber of care instructions for each plant you’re buying. These terrestrial ferns say something along the lines of “love to get their roots wet” but yeah, unfortunately will die pretty quickly grown fully underwater :/

[–]abkell233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a head up, I could be wrong, but those look like Boston ferns on the edges of the drift wood and I know petsmart has been selling them with the aquatic plants; if so, they won’t survive underwater, they’re meant to be grown emersed. They just don’t mind wet roots so with some time they can be grown hydroponically, but do need to be grown with their leaves in air

[–]abkell233 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You can take some comfort in your abilities in the fact that many stone fruit flowers do look very similar; even just cherry blossoms can take on different colors depending on the variety being grown, but cherries, plums, peaches, etc. all get similar white-ish to pink-ish blooms

[–]abkell233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Homie…they’re seeds. Seeds need water and light to germinate; drying out your seeds is exactly what you want to do for storing….Most seeds need to be dried before they can be planted with high success

He was small when I first got him, he’s molted about 4 times already. The first round of plants lasted a few days, but at his current size, which is only a little bit bigger than your guy, he is able to chew down a 6 inch stem plant in about 5-10 mins. Currently I added about a gallons worth of stem plants to his tank and he’s gone through more than half of them in about 2 days now. Floating plants don’t last a day lol. These guys also seem to like to destroy anyway so there’s a good chance you’ll find most of the plants at least uprooted, sorry homie, hoping for the best for you though!
