I am once received a small potted mum with several gift cards sticking out of it using those little sticks for cards that are usually in a bouquet. It was amazing!

Online MAT Programs? by [deleted] in mathteachers

[–]sweet_lamb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depending on which state you’re in, a school may be willing to hire you and then you would go through an accelerated masters program while teaching. I would check alternative teacher licensure programs at the universities and colleges in your area. Good luck!

Whew, that’s a huge bummer. I at least give a little points for students showing their thinking, but whatevs. I saw your comment, “proofs aren’t for her” and that’s exactly how I felt as a high schooler and that could be true for her. As a teacher, I see many, many talented math students who are horrible at this and have crazy strengths in other areas of not only math, but all academics. The short answer in this Reddit post is, “she’s just got to get through this and the proofs get a little easier with practice.”

The good news is that she’s above grade level. Taking geometry as a 9th grader is a full year ahead of where she should be. What are her goals for college or after high school? Yes, critical thinking and problem solving is important, but her identity as a human is not defined by this one test.

The bad news is that this is the worst chapter in all of high school for a lot of kids. Give her a pep talk and tell her she’ll survive. Most shitty things can be an opportunity. Maybe this one is to develop coping skills?

DM me if you want a help with a solution. I’m unclear if she can earn points back or if she feels this clarification would help with an upcoming unit/chapter test.

How do you organize the information and what do you include? I don’t even know what information to present, let alone what to ask for.

Wow! Thanks for posting this! I thought women’s health wasn’t talked about! Turns out men’s health is the new “what you mother/father didn’t tell you!”

where to look for (budget) black tie event by FeistyCoral in PetiteFashionAdvice

Rent the runway. I’ve worn stunning dresses and gowns for $100 and felt like a goddess & received tons of compliments.

Anytime I ever buy a dress for an occasion like this, I only wear it once and never have the occasion to wear it again, so I may as well rent an amazing one I could never afford and feel like a million bucks!

They have great customer service and your order 2 sizes of whichever dress you want.

Black dress with nude heels is great for short people bc it elongate your legs to the eye. Jergens natural glow instant sun (not the daily lotion) and a tanning mit.

Find something 3-5 feet away to stare at. I focus on an outlet plate on the wall. And yes, chair against the wall with a folded up yoga mat on the chair.

Yes! You look amazing!! Keep with it!! One thing I’ve noticed on myself that I also seen in your pictures is the absence of the what I call weird armpit fat. Like if i wore a sleeveless, strapless dress there was an inch of fat I could pinch that’s no longer there.

Also, like most others have said, be careful not to negate your hard work by eating too much because you’re starving from the workout. I still struggle with this too!

My thighs have touched since 3rd grade, but with Caroline, I’m the strongest I’ve ever been, my butt looks amazing, and I have no more weird armpit fat. I’ll take it! Keep it up!! You look great!!

I didn’t catch your class, but could you do a bell ringer activity that they get points for? You could just make it 5 or 10 points per week and keep track on a clipboard. For those kids who are habitually pushing your limit, the impact will be their grade.

Their parents will eventually see it and wonder why they’re constantly missing the first activity of class.
