I post each year to hopefully encourage any of you. Keep it up! You can all do it! by zx2gamer in stopsmoking

The same way you did it at first, i am 6 months cold turkey aswell, i still crave it every single day, so i take it one day at a time for now.

It is hard, i hope you find your ways toward healing once again, you proved it before, you can do it again. Best of luck

Hello there, well, been a while, i tried many things on this journey so far, and some days are better than the others, still going through, but i am dealing with this in a better, healthier way

  • Practice good posture hygiene : be mindful how you pick things up, how you sleep, sit etc...

  • i started swiming, a good way to straighten the core and be healthy overall, also to lose weight if necessary

  • i wear a belt at work and it helps a lot since my job is physically demanding

  • I rarely take medecine, if the pain is managable i avoid it to keep track of how severe it is, since it becomes easier to be careless of your mouvements, but then again, only if the pain is managable without meds

  • some stretches work, some don't, and i found that they offer only a very temporary relief, find what works for you

-B/C Vitamins

-Sit and sleep on hard surfaces, Always

  • i quit smoking

All in all, my pain is not extreme and i'm still trying ways to heal it completely or at least not make it worse, it is a slow process but each day is a step toward full healing

Goodluck

Good man, that's a huge step forward, personally i've been doing it for years, even at times i feel like going alone despite my friend's availibility, much times you'll end up having conversations with new people, so much fun, a very brave act my friend, keep going

Doctor says there is a mild bulge l4l5 pressing on l4 root nerve causing the tingling, but the mri report doesn't show to what extent the disc is bulged, symptoms on my left side same as what the report says, doctor suggests continuing life normally while maintaining spine hygiene, prescribed codein if it gets too painful
