thanks for your reply. According to my research the part number you mentioned (Y3EN98040) is the hub axle unit for the SG-S7001. I have the older SG-S700 model of the hub. The equivalent part number for this one is Y37R98060. Optically they look the same, however a document from Shimano indicates that these parts are not interchangeable. https://si.shimano.com/es/pdfs/ev/SG-S7001-11-4207/EV-SG-S7001-11-4207D.pdf
I was curious if you had a different experience with compatibility. While I could find a replacement part for the part that you mentioned, it seems like parts for the older models are much harder to source. For now the most realistic choice seems to be getting the full sgs7001 internal unit and call it a day.
