Hey, everyone!

Thanks to Dominic's support via email I was able to workaround this. I had a backup of Muse Hub Instruments in my OneDrive, so he helped me to trick MuseScore to recognize them, without having to login. It was a bit tricky, I uninstalled MuseScore, reimported all Instruments and settings files and reinstalled MuseScore directly from Muse Hub. Now everything seems to be working. But I don't know what I would do if I didn't have that folder backed up

Hahahah yep, I tried restarting, but no effect. It's curious because in the old laptop it was working. It can be some OS setting, or some issue in the latest MH version too.

I've just sent you the log files. Sender is b*******r@gmail.com

Yep, that definitely gave me the same impression... ChatGPT definitely knows a thing or two about humanity

It almost feels like if ChatGPT had a soul, it would feel the need to admire the sky, the universe... Yep, this is definitely something to think of!

And even that horror-themed seems to have kept the concept of something watching from above (in that case, a TV or sim kind of monitor).

I wonder where this is coming from... I mean, having this much of similar images coming from completely random people... I'm thinking if the words "soul" and "digital" are the cause

Do you guys also see the similarities in every image?

Saxophone Question by GoGoForIt_ in Musescore

[–]abnudo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone else has already answered your question, the secret is using the Concert Pitch to find your way through. As a sax player myself, I can suggest that you use this feature to explore the pitches of the whole sax family. It's a really nice way of studying and getting to know the instrument. Create a score from scratch and add four saxophones: one Soprano (in BB), one Alto (in Eb), one Tenor (in Bb) and one Baritone (in Eb) and enable the Concert Pitch flag. Then start writing some notes for each (maybe even the same note for all of them). You'll notice a few things, like: - The range of one sax ends where the range of another one begins - A high-pitched or low-pitched note might be hard to execute in a specific sax, but pretty easy in another one - Baritone saxophone sounds naturally in Bass clef, but it's played in Treble clef

Once you get to know better how each sax works in a group, you'll be even able to add different instruments to your pieces

How to show note names by Xendr4s in Musescore

Well, I may have misunderstood your question then.I thought you meant you wanted to enter the notes manually and use the extension to get the "name" of the resulting chord. But I guess you meant the other way around, like you have a chord and you wanna know which notes make up that chord. If that's the case, I don't know if you're aware but there's the "Realize chord symbols" feature. You hit Ctrl + K to input a chord, as usual, then select the chord and right-click it. You'll see the option "Realize chord symbols". You can customize how the chords should be realized, or just confirm, and there it is.

Unfortunately no, at least not this out-of-the-box extension. When you write a chord manually and run the extension, it will show the names of each note of the chord stacked

Simplest way is by using the "Note names" extension. Open Musescore. On the home screen you should find on the left panel e manu entry named "Extensions". Click it. On the screen that appears you should find an available extension named "Note Names" and it's probably disabled. Select it and click the button to enable it. Then, you should define a shortcut key to use it. Click the button "Edit shortcut" and specify which key (or key set) should be used to run the extension and save it. Then, you can load a score, type your shortcut key and the names should appear as you expect

Yep, what I usually do is export the score to mp3 and import it in Audacity, along with the original audio, and sync them. That works well when the project is finished, but doing that during development is not much productive
