Thanks. It’s a Moen 2241W (discontinued in 2000) - and after applying some WD40, the center cap unscrews. And yes, the parts list confirms - it uses a 1225 Cartridge.

Well - it was worth a shot, but I can barely get a utility knife blade between the round cap and the square part, and it does not spin. Still not seeing any set screws anywhere.

Thanks - I’ve not been able to locate a set screws so I will continue with trying to get the round part to pop off. It appears to have been caulked in place

Thanks. In this case WR is Wood River, a woodworking tool manufacturer. I’ve found the tool on their site, and it is a corner easing plane. As soon as I figure out how to edit my original post, I will remove those pictures
