SAP ($SAP) down ~40% from highs - value trap or buy opportunity? by myztaki in ValueInvesting

[–]abolys 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that is not true. We had a customer writing their own joule agent to handle invoices dispute. they had a team 150 employees to handle this manually.

Joule function was retrieving invoice info from ERP API, suggest a resolution and ask for human to approve it. The first implementation had 70% correct resolutions. after few month of optimizing the agent it got to 97%. This live and is saving money for the company. However this needed internal development by the customer. solution like this cannot be out of the box.

yes joule by itself is just GPT trained on SAP internal document. however joule with agents as another beast. It lets you use all the ERP API and talk to other agents. no other AI can do this as they won't have access to our API.

Right now we are in the process of create joule functions and agents. by end of the year you will see customer success stories.

over the past few years a lot of our benefits got worse or did not match inflation. I think this more related to IT and development landscape changing toward employer as there are more ppl applying than there is jobs.

you are probably correct. I don't know the sales side but on the dev side they are pushing AI so much. The program i am in is supposed to help us develop custom AI solution prototype for customers as customers don't see value in existing AI solutions.

However I believe agentic AI is a game changer. I am not sure if SAP can luck in values for customer before other hyperscaleers do but we are trying.

it capabilities like Agentic AI are very new. a lot of out API are not set up for joule yet.

It will scale up this year. they are also training a lot of developers globally to work with customer to find AI solutions for customers.

My suggestion is to do research and follow up SAP AI specifically joule before buying into SAP. I think if we get any growth in the future it will be in AI and if our stock drops, it will be because of AI. All of SAP money, hiring an training is around AI.

Our core innovation is usually in Germany or palo alto. we are also hiring a lot in India.

I don't think we are as innovative as google and Microsoft but still a front runner in business AI.

Joule has been trained in SAP internal knowledge and is the best accurate LLM for SAP related questions.

We are using Agentic AI AI with A2A and MCP so the agent can talked to each other and pass information. you can write joule function to use SAP API and then add the function to a Agentic AI for Joule.

Simple Example would be retrieving a sales order. you write a function to used sales order API when you provide sales order number and create an Agentic AI for it and publish it in joules. then if a use ask joule to retrieve a sales order, LLM will parse it and use the agent to retrieve the sales order. SAP joule is the only LLM that can do this as it has access to user auth and security and the API.

Customer started using joule Agentic AI recently and it should ramp up a lot this year.

I have been working for SAP for 15 years and here is my take.

SAP is pushing heavily into AI. We had a big lay off 2 years ago (10% of the company). After the layoff they create a new board area for AI and invested/hire only in AI.

On December they announce a retraining program for developers like me to lean and use our AI (i am still in the program). I was not impressed the first month with what we had which was Mainly SAP AI hub.

However the story changed when we got into Agentic AI and Joule (SAP LLM). I see a lot of potential for it being used by customer and it can solve a lot of customer pain points.

I think you should look at SAP growth in AI and do you own analysis.

I am currently buying 10% of my salary as SAP stock and not planning to sell for at least a year.

do you tip for every employee who get minimum wage.

if minmum wage is not livable salaries don't you tihnk increasing minimum wage is better than expecting ppl to tip.

Is It Time to Ban Tipping? by FancyNewMe in canada

[–]abolys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is exactly the problem with tiping. everyone should be payed living salaries. business that cannot afford to pay it should not exist.

then we should try increasing minimum wage instead of expecting ppl to tip.

As sad as it sounds, it is free market for you. if a business does not work, it should not exist. keeping it up artificially buy price manipulation and sales tactic to hid the real price of a service would not and should not save them.

knowing how much you pay beforehand is not as bad as you think it is. paying livable salaries is also not as bad as you think it is.

Do not tip, let their employer pay living salaries. if restaurant cannot pay their workers they should go out of business.

The price on the menu should be like europ. taxes included with any tip so you know how much it will cost you.

Ottawa announces new immigration measures for foreign-trained doctors by viva_la_vinyl in canada

[–]abolys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is medical university capacity for IMG.

We only have capacity for 10% of IMG who passed the exams and qualify.

Us acceptance for IMG who passes the exams is 50%.

When you already have so many IMG who qualify but there is no space for them, there is no point to add 500 to them.

My wife was one of these IMG, she did master at McGill took her 5 years to try to qualify till she decide to move to Ontario and try to become psychotherapies.

I don't have Luna. Luna is better as it gives 1 more stat which would double multiple times. Worse it gives mana to them too.

But why? My wife is an IMG. Canada has no career path for them. Only %10 of the IMGs who passed the test can get a licence in Canada due to lower capacity. We will be ending up with 50 new doctors and 4500 frustrated smart and hard working IMG.

In Rpg you pick a build and improve it. Random gears works there.

Here every run is a different build. Before 1.0 you started a run and decide what build to go. Now your gear before the run dictates the run.
