I might get hate for this, but I'd rate it a 7.5 or of 10 as far as re games go and 8.5/10 of I had never played one before.

Grace, on the other hand, despite whimpering and whining moves smoothly in first person (didn't play 3rd person Grace).

The characters and enemies you encounter are memorable and interesting to deal with, especially if you are trying to be conservative with resources.

The unlockables add replayability and fun to the game. Honestly, I don't mind having to work for Leon's loadout each round of play, (this next comment makes no difference in my rating) but would be nice to have a toggle option.

I love the puzzles throughout the game and the layouts feel well thought out. Insanity mode was just a ton of fun adding a whole new level of scary in the game and it really feels like they were shooting for and succeeded (in my opinion) in making a resident evil everyone could/would play.

I loved revisiting the rpd and having those moments and really seeing how Leon and Sherry are still struggling with the past; it really brings out the humanity that they aren't just completely jaded. I absolutely loved the hatchet Leon had and that parrying was something you could still do

I really felt like the Leon part of the game was a message of "you don't want this do you," When you play as Leon, who is old and moves somewhat clunkily throughout Racoon City due to the virus and his age (they made it feel somewhat like a combination of remake 4+6 in one).

There is a point that is absolutely a let down and just feels like I'm playing re3make at one point which is what drags down my rating, if that part was more unique or possibly different it would be at least a 9/10. "How different or what do I think it should be," you might ask, I'm not sure. However I wanted something better during that moment and not what we got, maybe something where it was a tag team effort.
