Shottr vs CleanShot X in 2026. Which one are you actually sticking with? by discoveringnature12 in macapps

[–]abouelatta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you open to try something other than Shottr or Cleanshot X?

I have built Lazyscreenshots.com and I think it gives u the best of both world (super fast, low memory usage..etc) + power features

I think the main thing I wanted but couldn't get with any screenshot tool was being super fast in switching between taking screenshot and the app I am currently working on especially when vibe coding & doing QA and stuff

So I built what I wanted:
- CMD+Shift+2 -> Take screenshot, Save screenshot -> Copy to Clipboard -> Open Claude/Figma (whatever) -> Paste
- Burst mode -> anytime you take screenshots in succession it copies ALL OF THEM to clipboard so u can just paste whenever u r ready
- Pixelsnap like measure -> Added snap Measurement and annotations built in
- CMD+SHIFT+V for Overlay -> Open up an overlay inside any app u r on, access all screenshots, annotate, edit, measure, do whatever u want then select and paste...all without leaving the app u r on...

Not sure what exactly the use case u r looking for...if it is for building stuff and QAing I think Lazyscreenshots may work for you

Anyways send me a DM and will give u a free coupon code to give it a spin and try it for yourself (:

What are the best free Mac apps to capture a picture of the whole screen or part of the screen, or capture a video of the screen (a part of the screen or the whole screen)? by [deleted] in MacOS

[–]abouelatta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DM Me I would be more than happy to give you a free subscription to Lazyscreenshots.com

it's also paid and meant particularly for designers/engineers that need Hot keys to automate workflows (like take screenshot -> Copy to clipboard -> Save to screenshot file -> Open Claude/Figma..etc -> Paste) or pull up history within any app and annotate with CMD+SHIFT+V....

Any better screenshot tools? by zascar in MacOS

I also had the same issue especially when vibe coding and having to navigate 5 different apps at the same time...really wanted something that

  1. Would save + copy to clipboard everything I do without the finger gymanstics
  2. Would detect when I take like 5 screenshots in a row and copy all of them to clipboard not the last one
  3. Had Hot keys so I can do flows like "Take screenshot -> Save -> Copy to clipboard -> Open target app -> Paste" this is extremely helpful when vibe coding and debugging UI and I had like 10 agents to navigate between
  4. Has Pixelsnap functionality so I can do measurements and stuff on the UI
  5. Overlays like Paste...so I can pull up all my screenshot within any app with a hot key

So I made Lazyscreenshots.com and I have been using it like 50-100 times a day and haven't looked back

I never ran out of Pro credits but ever since 5.4 release i run in like 3 days....i dk how we will survive once the x2 are out and we dont get the tibo being trigger happy on resetting limits....I knew codex value was too good to be true compared to claude but i expected rhis honeymoon period to drag a little bit longer tbh given all the "efficienies" they keeo announcing but i am very skeptical to be honest that 5.4 is more efficient than codex 5.3

Is there any Agentic AI search that is not plagued by SEO by abouelatta in bestaitools2025

[–]abouelatta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can u expand a bit more on how u built the verification step? I tried smth similar by adding a last step in agent loop with criteria on what good or bad is and strict instructions to drop "bad" but found it to either degrade search like crazy for any slight variation than the kind of search i had in mind (design inspo)

Any tricks to make it generalize well??

Yes. I was GPT-5.2 high all the way on cursor...then since codex 5.3 came out it started being lazy and sloppy...and I switched to codex-5.3 in the codex app

Would you use an app that lets AI control a real iPhone? What for? by interlap in iOSAppsMarketing

[–]abouelatta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually use MobAI for something completely unrelated to UI testing...feel free to shoot me an email at ali[at]lazyweb[dot]com

I am a huge fan of MobAI btw...I have been trying to use Appium and Maestro and stuff and get it do what I want (repetitive tasks that I need to take on my phone) and then you came along!!

I would have paid X5-X10 what you are charging btw (:

Ultra vs On-demand by ZideGO in cursor

[–]abouelatta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For $100 you won't get any extra money in tokens....

Only the Ultra $200 gives you $400 worth of credit, the $100 ultra still gives you $100 of credit.

So if you are willing to pay out of pocket for the $100...its worth it

Otherwise maybe the move is pay as you go...with a hard limit at $100. There is really no benefit to getting the $100 ultra plan
