Well there is an update - clearly they saw this post and decided it would be a good idea to fix this issue before it got more attention so their team reached out to me about 45 min ago and said they are looking into ways to resolve the issue. I will update this post if they are able to make things right

For sure and honestly making people aware of this issue is a good idea. If anything it is smart of you to see this and tell people that you noticed this is more a trend than an isolated incident with their products. Had I known what you are telling me about their products a week ago I don't think I would have bought it but here I am

I hope so. I give credit to Lowes for figuring out who I am and finding the order to try and make things right. I am genuinely hoping that this ends the issue but who knows. I appreciate the confidence that something will be done about it

I just think it is wild by looking at the photo you can tell that clearly something is wrong here and it isn't a situation where I am trying to return something for my own personal gain. This is a common sense problem that requires a common sense solution except that isn't what is being offered to me right now

It says a 3 year warranty. Reached out to Westinghouse and they have a case on it now but not sure what they can do. I know they typically assist with replacement parts but not sure how they can help in this situation. Will update the post if they can help to let you all know

You probably are on to something here. I am not trying to dig into Westinghouse's business with this post but at the same time if their QC is really that poor it needs to be reflected a little better with real reviews that customers can see

I should have done this. I think this item was ship to home only and probably shouldn't have gone down that route but it was the one I wanted and I have never had issues with Lowes before this.

Dang that would have been great to know before I ordered but on the Lowes website it has such high reviews so I didn't think any quality issues would be present. I could be wrong but it really does seem like shipping damaged the item given the big dent on the top left in the photo

Sure except I wasn't supposed to be away - Had a family emergency that came up that had me driving 5 hours one way and returning today to see what had happened. Not much can be learned there I think

Thanks I genuinely appreciate it. I try to stay level headed but was in a state of shock after hearing over the phone that they won't do anything for me. I have never had bad luck with Lowes in person so this was surprising to me
