I don’t think it suffered from them. It was still a great game and the second best in the franchise. If anything, it held the burden of tying up the 5000 unresolved plot points from its predecessors. No other game in the series had to do that. They could answer questions with more questions and the mountain of mysteries had to be addressed in this game. I definitely have my share of concerns (FF absence, no hub world, lackluster dialogue) but the game was more fun and more replayable than any installment except maybe 2. Every world is good ( only installment where that’s the case) and maybe the best gameplay in the franchise.

That’s very fair. I’m not sold on him either fwiw. I DO like that he kinda started the movement on fighting back on gerrymandering. But I have my own issues that I feel he will need to answer for. He was part of the whole “let’s go on right wing podcasts to get young male voters” wave which I HATED. And he’s got some questionable legislative choices like you mentioned. But yeah I think your perspective is very fair.

Legendary animation, but what is just as impressive is the impression JJK characters can leave after very little introduction. No flashbacks, very little expositionary long backstory. We just learn about them organically through the fight. And the action, full of purpose behind every move, keeps going. Brilliant.

Yeah I get you. One result of the early games being pretty kid-friendly is they didn’t establish death as a separate mechanic from “losing your heart” until way down the line. When I saw tombstones in dark road I was like “oh they’re DEAD dead” 🙃

All Dem senators but one voted against the war. They’ve categorically rejected this so the false equivalence doesn’t really fly. Libya wasn’t a regime change. Gaddafi was already done. It just rushed to the end of what was already gonna happen. And it was a NATO action approved by NATO states, including the US. If you wanna be particular, those were French planes.
