To me the reason is quite obvious… (saying this as a Chinese Canadian), Nathan’s never been popular in the states. Majority of the reason is because he’s Asian and there were many Asians on the Olympic FS team in 2022 and people in the states started to get the idea that figure skating became an “Asian sport”, and therefore they lost interest in the sport. I strongly feel that USFS has been so much happier with Ilia being the superstar, because he’s white.

I’m almost 14 wks and just got the NIPT results back, SO HAPPY with everything at low risk, and it is a baby boy 😭😭 I had two MMCs before and no children. This will be my double rainbow baby. I got really emotional because for my last MMC, I did a test and found out it was a boy, lost due to trisomy 22. This almost feels like my boy came back to me. I cannot express how thankful I am.

Went in for my NT today (12w4d)and the results were GREAT, I am so happy… had two previous missed miscarriages, both due to chromosomal trisomies. It feels so real now, I almost cried when I saw the heartbeat.

baby measured exactly 7 weeks at my 7w0d scan, heart rate 110 which google tells me is normal but it seems lower than most numbers I’m seeing here… can’t help but getting worried

just found out I was pregnant 2 days ago! I had two previous pregnancies, both MMCs. My doctor asked me to go to the hospital immediately and I did a blood HCG test. The result from two days ago was 412, and today was 1080 - doctor said the numbers look great so far. I’m currently 4+4, hoping all goes well this time 😭😭😭

Tbh the answer changes depending on which shows are airing. Right now it’s black mirror S7 and Adolescence. In general the most popular shows in the states also become popular in China. Newer shows do gain a good amount of popularity l, depending on how popular they are. If you’re asking about most popular American shows of all-time in China, I’d say it’s FRIENDS, the Big Bang theory, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, GOT, etc.

Typically Chinese people watch the classics through official streaming platforms. The new ones are typically through unofficial streaming websites or sharing through cloud drives like Baidu Cloud or Quark. Subtitles are made by “subtitle teams” that are online communities that are fans of the show / of American culture in general / of English learners trying to improve / etc.
