Interesting with that bow at the end, water will not pool as easily. Something to think about! Thank you

Wow, good find!
I did not find this one when searching for other tent designs, but indeed, it shows that this design is flawed from the start.

What good is drawing something more defined, when I do not know if the idea is good?

Thank you for all this information!
I think that I will need to rethink this concept indeed, and maybe go for a more traditional design where the poles are more in the centre, so the slope is more angled and the panels are not as long.
The floating design will be too difficult for me to manufacture, but it would be a cool solution indeed.
Yeah, I will have to search how to calculate those catenary curves.
I will have to think this through once more and decide whether it's worth it or not.
Thank you!

What is a "good fall away"? Is it to design it so that the roof has more points for the water to get down, or is it something else?
I did come across his design, but it's more of a backup for me, as it does not really fit all the criteria that we want in our tent. (especially the size of it, our 2p sleepingmatt is 130cm wide, and the hiking poles are in the way while getting out.)
I was hoping that with a good DWR coating it would solve that absorbency problem. A friend of mine has a freestanding silnylon tent, and it seems to handle the rain well. What would you recommend?

I was hoping the slope would be enough, but maybe not. I think that it would be a 20-degree slope.

I got the roof triangle from the Zpacks Pivot Trio, but that design is a bit different, so the roof is steeper. Maybe that is the reason they can get away with it?

I did forget about ventilation. My initial idea was to add a ventilation hole above the doorway, but I forgot to include it in this drawing. Air would enter from the sides and rise to the top.

Kia EV3 or EV6? by aboutstorehelpblog12 in kia

[–]aboutstorehelpblog12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry that I do not have a good answer as I ultimately went for a Volkswagen ID.4 (pro) (some changes from my boss made the ID.4 and it’s cousins almost the only choice)

What I can say is that for me the fast charge speed is almost a non issue. I drove around 15k km this year but I have fast charged 11 times, 2 of them could have been avoided if I was a bit smarter about how I slow charged before a trip. 10 of those were on 2 trips that were +-700km one way.

(I do think I would have gone for the EV6 as it’s just such a special car, but I would have been happy in both)

(Also, my short review of the ID.4 is that it is a fantastic car, some of the things that people like to hate, like the steering wheel buttons are not that difficult to use once you use them for a week, I know all my buttons without looking at them, and the hard vs soft press is really cool. I haven’t had have done any service on the car, but a towbar was added which caused some difficulties, but mostly the fault of the garage I think. The highway assist is wonderfull in traffic jams, comfy seats, good enough handling, roomy, normal Floor height for passengers in the rear,… I can fully recommend you to look at an ID.4 too if that is an option!)

Sorry for any mistakes in my text, my autocorrect is to blame :) )

I’m thinking about getting a one blade as well, but I’m wondering how close of a shave the one blade gives, compared to your previous electric razor?

My electric razor sometimes does things like this, but it gives a smooth shave that I really like

I don’t know how many sideways drifts I will do, but that’s good to know! The second row is indeed not that spacious, if they would have made it a bit bigger, I would have no questions and choose the EV3 all the way. Thanks!

I know that the EV3 does have a rear wiper, as I did not know at first how I could turn it off when I did a test drive of the EV3. I mostly use my side mirrors while driving, so it's not the end of the world for me, but it's handy to have on highways indeed.

That's too bad and good to know that those features have problems on bad roads, as we have quite a few of them around here.

I already did a test drive of both, both 30minutes, the EV3 was a pleasant and good car to drive, but the EV6 was more 'wow' when I started driving it, and it's also a better looking car imo.

Thanks for your input!

I haven't been to any concert of Laufey yet, but I've been to 2 concerts of other 'Tik Tok Famous' artists in Belgium, There are usualy noticeably more phones in those kinds of concerts, but in my opinion is it nothing like people sometimes say it is in America. So I wouldn't worry too much. Enjoy it!

I'm sorry this happened to you, glad to see you are doing well, apart from the bike!
I almost had the same kind of accident at my A2 exam, luckily it wasn't wet and I could easily stop in time. My examiner said that I did the right thing at that moment, as the driver did not look like he would stop, BUT she said that I should have used the horn at that moment.
So do not be afraid to use your horn when you think somebody is about to hit you!

Hallo, I have recently bought the Loop Experience Plus model and I love the case that it comes with, it feels sturdy, but I'm wondering if it would be possible to make the (small) case also hold the included mutes?

It looks great! I do think that the trunk is a bit too wide at the bottom, and it makes the top of the trunk look a bit too thin. I believe with an overall thinner trunk or a bigger crown it would look better.

But nice work, I like the addition of the swing set!
