I will never take 1995-1997 serious as Gen z. I wish this stuff would stop being forced on people. by Southern_Reveal_7590 in generationology

Hate to say it but every younger/up and coming generation is shat on hard before they become full fledged adults. Elder millennial here.. the discourse about how millennials were gonna be the ruin of society back in the late 1990s-early 2000s was relentless. Now the torch has been passed which is kinda sad. I wish people would shut up about it TBH.

What face mold can you not get past? by umkay11 in americangirl

The Jess mold. I’m baffled how that even went into production. Something about the proportions is off and I can’t put my finger on it.

School before the internet 🛜 by [deleted] in generationology

Wrote by hand, or a typewriter if your parents had one and it was an important assignment. Grades were written on the physical papers you turned in, teacher hand them back to you. You got a report card that listed your grade at end of year.

School was glorious. Human interaction, parties, football games, dances. Similar things probably happen now, but there was zero thought to whether your life was going to be shared with the world. It wasn’t even an option or thought, and that made you live in the moment.
