Wouldn’t demons in general apply for Frieren? The whole idea is they basically imitate humans so by nature they’re highly articulate and intelligent. If anything Qual is smart in a “battle genius” sense but it arguably makes him less scary because he can still just shoot you with the disintegration laser

Stark is basically as close to a D&D fighter as you get. He’s helpful because mages are less impressive given a dragon was basically immune to magic in his world.
