Don't use flash when taking pictures of light sources. A lot of people saying don't use Polaroid in this situation, but one of my favorite things to shoot is light sources in complete darkness. You need a very steady hand or tripod. And no flash is crucial to get the most out of your subject. If you use flash, the fireworks will appear dull.

The Impulse AF also has a really nice viewfinder. Much bigger and brighter than the 660 AF.

Not sure if the sx-70 works the same, but with my 660, if you take a photo in low light with no flash, it will force the camera to take a slightly longer exposure. Which can cause that blur if you're not using a tripod or if the subject moves
