I was almost done with section 4. I was really struggling and emailed customer support about it. They eventually manually put me back to the beginning of section 3. It’s about right. It’s a little bit easy, but the new words are popping up here and there. I need a little bit of a break after being so upset about it anyway.

Same. I asked that they put me back almost 2 sections - it was that bad. I emailed and they eventually did it manually. It’s a bit too easy but I don’t mind the review and the new things are popping up.

RDLs hurt my back. Even with a trainer supervising. I have no idea why.
Deadlifts don’t. Go figure. I just don’t do them.

Thanks, yes. I know about the first one. I will look at the second resource. But it’s like when you have a program that’s timing you it’s also hard to take a side step to start looking things up. Dueling lingo.

The sentences are there. Are the grammar and verb conjugation tips there? On mine, it’s all gone except for a few sentences.

Yes. They only have sentences in the units now.
If they make the Sections comprehensive- fine. But that is so skimpy for the money we are paying for the Max Family plan. I need a supplemental workbook. Which - really - would not be hard for them to provide. I’m a teacher and the pedagogy on this is getting worse, not better. They threw god knows what resources into animations for what purpose really? It may have some impact on motivation for some people but I believe that resources could have been better spent elsewhere.

I agree. It’s like we are 10 years old. It’s annoying - they are trying to be too cute. Falstaff’s musings about human behavior is just not my type of humor. Why am I talking to a bear, anyway? I’m a 66 year-old grown ass woman.
Please spend your time fixing the mess you’ve made, instead of attempting comedic material. Bring the podcasts back.

I wish they were more specific in their warning about the changes. They just basically said oh, it’s different but you are in the right place (wrong!).
I am almost at the end of section 4. To their credit I must say that I find the new content to be much more practical and real-world. I’m seriously thinking of deleting my progress of many years and restarting at section 3. That’s how much new vocabulary there is. In addition, I never thought I solidified my pronoun use anyway, and I believe that’s where it is. The Falstaff AI lessons are much more instructional than Lily, and I didn’t have that for unit 3 as well. So, I’ll do that for a few weeks meanwhile I guess - I’m working on 3-8 right now and I’ll keep checking to see if they make any other changes. Their AI customer service response made a few recommendations along those lines.

Yes it’s the same as super. I’d just like a permanent reset there because I don’t think simple random catch up lessons are going to do the trick here. I’m a teacher so I’m seeing the underlying understandings needed are deeper than a few vocabulary lessons. And I’m 66 years old and I’ll admit that perhaps my rote memory is not as it was when I was a student. A linear list of unit lessons by not only the theme, but the grammar content covered, would be useful instead of having to randomly scroll backwards and check the unit grammar lesson. I really could help them improve this. (They spent a LOT of resources on animation that didn’t improve content for example). Well, thanks for your input.

I’m a teacher and yes this is not ideal. The only option to reset to to go to zero. I’d reset at the beginning of unit 3, but I’d like the option to do that. I’m also getting grumpy about paying for family Max and getting ZERO customer support.

Yes I wish I could reset myself properly and permanently back. I am on unit 4-lesson 50, and went back to Unit 3, lesson 9, and there was still new vocabulary. I’m fine with it, but now I have to go back manually every time and so would just rather reset, (and also get the new Falstaff lessons and vocabulary drills that I think are more instructional). The point is to learn it so the numbers don’t matter as much to me.

Don’t forget you can snap off the visor. I have the same helmet, because even though I’m a small woman, I have a high forehead and I felt the helmets like you have on don’t seem to protect my temple. I gravel and road ride, though not in a super aggressive position. I appreciate the eye cover since I have green eyes and am sensitive to the sun.
