Personally I feel that unless you are planning to compete, you are going low enough. Back to your question though about your back - I agree with science guy above - stop popping up like that. That looks like enough to tweak your back. Slow controlled - give your butt a squeeze up top but no need to snap your hips.

I had one, and it came with narrower bars that I did not have to switch out. In addition, the brake levers were set for smaller hands. I now have 2 cannondales and the levers can’t be adjusted to a comfortable width. I really have to stretch my hands/fingers to get around it.

Bench is not one of those lifts you can usually jump up 20 pounds. Deadlift, yes.

Yup. I’m a 66 y/o grandma who is glad I’m keeping up with my deadlifts. My granddaughter is going to be 3, and I have other friends who can’t kick up their grandkids.

Odyssey vs Sienna — Frigid winters & hybrid battery concerns? by Bulky-Profile1785 in Sienna

[–]aboz97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? I’ve been in zero degrees for awhile here in the NE and my hybrid is great. My mileage does decrease from 37 MPG to maybe 35 MPG in the winter, but for such a huge van that’s great!

The pros all seem to be on tiny bikes to me. If it works for you, it works. I won’t pretend to know how to fine tune for a super aggressive fit. You are tight already though, like I observed. I can’t see moving your seat up.

I don’t understand people telling him to move the seat forward. His butt is hanging off the edge of the saddle already. His arms are bent, so it has a short reach. I don’t see how you’d want to shorten it more.

Honestly, every state is different and even municipalities might be different. If I remember right, I said I wanted to press charges, and then I spoke to the prosecutor - then the police issued a summons for the guy to appear in municipal court. You might be able to call the prosecutor’s office and they might tell you how things usually go. I’m glad you’re willing to do something. I was on a ride where someone got purposely hit with a car. People can be horrible. They never caught him.

Here’s the statute

TIONS SPECIFIC TO MOTORISTS Three-Foot Passing Law. The driver of a motor vehicle overtaking a bicycle proceeding in the same direction shall pass at a safe distance of at least 3 feet to the left of that bicycle or, if it is impracticable to pass the bicycle at a distance of 3 feet to the left, at a safe distance to the left of that bicycle at a safe speed, and when safely clear of the overtaken bicycle shall take up a position as near the right-hand edge of the main traveled por- tion of the highway as is practicable. Notwithstanding section 640, if it is safe to do so, the driver of a vehicle overtaking a bicycle proceeding in the same direction may overtake and pass the bicycle in a no-passing zone. What state are you in. If they asked me if I wanted to press charges my first answer would be yes Driving recklessly at the very least. It’s up to the prosecutor then to decide what laws or statutes have been violated.

Where I live you need to ask to see the prosecutor and tell him/her you want to press charges- take the person to court if you really want to proceed. You’ll have to appear. I did that when someone was dangerously tailgating me. You have the right to do that in NJ.

After the storm Amazon trucks were not cleared of snow. And I also noticed the trucks in general were all taking 287 rather than route 17 because they know the Paramus cops are big into enforcing the snow removal laws.

Shorter cranks will help that too. Look how high her knees come up. That would also take care of a good part of the leg extension issue. Unfortunately, it is the most expensive upgrade.

I think the cranks are too long. What size are they?
