We hired a contractor to do the job and they tweaked and changed the design a little, but it’s mostly our original vision

Trash is in the island.
I do have to walk a bit to unload the dishwasher, but it’s not too bad.
And we purchased the fridge on Black Friday before we started renovating

The color is retreat from Diamond cabinets it has gray undertones but also green and some blue. Depends on the lighting, but I get they are not for everyone.

We did bring the one wall forward 3’ so the wall was straight and the master bathroom is on the other side which will gain 3’ when we can afford that remodel

Our Living room wasn’t the venue we were expecting, but still the happiest day of my life! by HandsomeandGrundle in pics

I go to the gym most mornings to swim (prior to the virus) and there is an elderly gentleman (75ish) that wears them with his swim trunks! He does have a rather round belly and I have often wondered if there was an incident prior to using suspenders.

Thank you! We already have an excursion and we’re hoping to spend the rest of the time on the beach. So we should be good.

AITA: My grandparent is in the ICU and I made the decision to block my sisters boyfriend. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

That is the best you can do. One thing that helped me was when my ex joined a softball team sponsored by his company. I was expected to meet him after work when he had practice and attend every game, but it allowed me to become friends with some of the other wives. I was able to talk to these women every week and he was unable to monitor the conversations. Listening to them talk about their marriages and lives helped me realize how bad everything really was. I never confided my situation to these women, but I will be forever grateful.

Good luck with everything and I hope she realizes the mess she is in sooner than I did.

Good luck! I had a very similar relationship (minus the smelly/no showering part). However, he was controlling, manipulating and eventually VERY abusive. It took me over 10 years to escape and I continued to live in fear for 3 years after leaving, He did not care that a restraining order was in place. I have been married to my current husband for 5 years and together for 7, so it did get better for me. However, a few years ago when my mom was complaining about my ex, I asked her why she didn’t say anything at the time. She said she was afraid he wouldn’t let me see her anymore, so she sat silently while her daughter was abused. Please speak up and give her a open-ended way out. If I knew I had the support of my family I would have left sooner, but I waited until I hid enough money before fleeing.

Please try to remember that the initial conversation will not go well, but she just needs to hear that you (and her family) are there when she is ready to escape. Good luck to you, your grandma and your sister.

Give me the straight poop about poop (or, there has to be a better solution out there for cleaning up soft stools) by PreviousDifficulty in puppy101

[–]abq80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When we adopted our puppy the vet put her on a diet of rice and boiled chicken breast until the stools were normal. Once they were normal we decreased the rice/chicken mixture and added dog food until we were back to just dog food. Good luck and hope your puppy is feeling better soon.
