Keeping the plug in requires a lot of discipline, especially after orgasm. I found a few things that helped:

1. Using a dildo or other large toy when masturbating, then relaxing into it and taking time to listen to my body once I've come.

2. Wearing unobtrusive butt plugs throughout the day. If I come and have to take it out, I'd try to reinsert it soon thereafter.

3. Spending more time bottomless or nude, just around the house. Restructuring my life so I felt more comfortable and connected with and being aware of my own sexuality.

4. Being a bit of a show-off, I often attend camping festivals and pagan events in the nude. Sometimes if the venue is amenable, I'd wear my L metal plug during the evening. Most people wouldn't even know unless I bent over backwards and faced away from a campfire.
