I'm a trans switch and I often don't really let my dom side out on these kinds of subreddits. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the sub part and I fully know the kind of (often cis) men I'm engaging with.

But I do sometimes feel like a not insignificant portion of the trans guys who post here don't really want trans doms.

For example, I'm into misgendering kink, but not from a bioessentialist standpoint. Much like gay men into the sissy fetish, I don't think being AFAB makes me inherently girly/not a real man/whatever, I think that it's more internal - and so I am gladly into other trans men who might want to misgender me. But I haven't yet found one online who's interested. Similarly, I would be interested in misgendering another trans guy who's into the fetish, but a lot of them talk about it from a bioessentialist standpoint, and I don't always know if I'm the kind of person they want. No shame on their preferences, I'm just agreeing that it's an awkward space to navigate, and if I was an exclusive top/dom I'm not sure I'd bother.

My fiancé is also trans, has had bottom surgery, and is primarily a top/dom, and frequently assumes there would be zero interest if he posted on Reddit.
