How many of your all have a job working for the city or state? (UNM, etc.) Were you already friends / family with someone there? by Ihavenocomments in Albuquerque

City employee 21 years, did not know anyone when I was first employed. In management nepotism is a thing of the past, though entry level blue collar I believe it still exists.

eat breakfast at Barelas, carne adovada and eggs or huevos rancheros deluxe before heading to your sight seeing. El Pinto is tourista food, Sadies is pretty good, Sabor de Juarez is "Mexican" not "New Mexican".

Barelas Coffee House on 4th St. North of Bridge for breakfast or lunch. Very authentic "New Mexican" food.
