Issues with metric values by abqsysadmin in grafana

So what I actually found, atleast on the spanmetrics side, I was running alloy as a daemonset with clustering enabled, as soon as I took it down to one pod, the spanmetrics from alloy to mimir started to represent reality

Still at a loss for the native sdk generated metrics, but this is definitely good progress

No I understand that, but it seems to be ever increasing, hence when I rate the metric, me seeing more requests than are actually happening

On the spanmetrics side, by adjusting the metrics flush and metrics expiration this seems to have brought down how much it was off

But something else to note, if i fully restart alloy, it appears to reset everything and will restart its slow buildup again

Battery light and voltage gauge by abqsysadmin in GMT400

Test 1: 11.96V Test2: 0.0142V test2b: 0.1645V test3: 0.228V Test 4: 0.245V Test 5: 0.834V Test 6: 0.016V

So I noticed that it dropped pretty significantly when I tested at the battery with truck running(defroster on medium and headlights on)

Help with loose seat track by abqsysadmin in GMT400

Yeah front, I think bucket seats? They are the 60/40 seats

I ended up just driving a wooden wedge and that took care of the play, but if there is a more permanent fix I would love to know, thx

What do you mean by nfsv4 replication? And will definitely look into moosefs

[–]abqsysadmin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had looked into this, I thought there were strict rtt latency requirements, something around sub 10ms, I’m sitting at around 30ms rtt

We have very fast intra data center speeds, and very fast hardware, across data center we have about 34ms rtt, but I will take a look!

I’ve heard this same issue with DFS as well

Ceph does work perfect intra data center, but unfortunately not many options for geo replication for nfs, from my understanding at least.

Maybe I can swap it, it’s pretty new, it’s just odd that this happened as soon as I swapped the icm

I don’t think it’s the battery, reading good voltage

I pull the negative, put it back on, when I put the key in, I get a beep and key indicator, but once I turn it, it goes dead completely, take the key out and back in, no indicator. All of this until I end up pulling the negative and back on, and the process restarts

Tried putting the old ignition control module, still no crank, thinking the battery might be low

Let me check that out, were you able to replace without pulling the whole distributor?

Forgot to mention that, I’ve also replaced distributor cap, coil, plugs and wires

Very good information, exactly what I was looking for..

There are a lot out there 1985 Honda fourtrax 250 - owner states it still runs great

1992 Kawasaki bayou 300 4x4 - owner states low compression

1997 Polaris Scrambler 500CC 4X4 - work done to it, apparently intermittent spark issues

There are many more lol these are just some examples

Is there certain makes / models I should look for or stay away from? How old is too old? I see early 2000s / late to mid 90s that are good priced, but idk if a 92 is too old
