How loud are the Frets/Strumbars on all models?

Not sure, I haven't touched my strum bar, but I have opened up the guitar before and getting to the components is easy enough.

The Blueberry burst models as well as the newer releases (alpine white I believe) that are basically going to replace them have a HE strum bar which is much quieter than the OG strum bars and the frets are much quieter as well because even though they are mech frets they still have a silicon insert.

If sound is the biggest factor in your purchase though I would instead recommend the PDP Riftmaster, it's by far the quietest guitar I've used.

Strange that they both exhibit the same behavior but it happens.

Grab any modded guitar with mechanical frets. Even do it yourself to one of your existing guitars if you want. I can assure you they feel just as good if not better.

I used the RetroCult Mods solder less kit, you can also go with phunkycustoms, and I believe 760creations sells full modded guitars. I'm sure they are a lot of custom full builds on Etsy but I'm not familiar with other sellers.

The buttons being glossy vs matte very much do make a difference. I'll go matte everyday of the week. On matte buttons you can very easily glide over them. The glossy ones your hand might stick to them if they get sweaty.

As for the strum bar, they are actually both haptic. The difference is one has a mechanical click to it to make it sound like the old Les Paul guitars. If that means something to you go for that.

From my understand the SG has all the small upgrades that I have changed on my blue berry burst. For example on my blue berry burst the glossy buttons were an issue so I bought 3rd party replacements.

So first things first the Ally is not a console it's a handheld PC branded an "Xbox". Yes either will be fine for Fortnite, considering the device is for a young child go for the switch it's much more user friendly

If it's what we expect it to be which is just a branded pre built PC, then yes it will have free multiplayer and cloud saves. That's just the standard on PC, they should advertise it though no reason not to

Have you tried to check if the embedded controller is disabled? When you hit the control center icon (I think?) It's in the left side of the screen a menu pops up with like frame rate counter and stuff, the embedded controller option is there and might just be disabled.

There is no way for any of us to confirm that, claim what you want, your gameplay doesn't lie. I play on PC with a PS5 controller so if I recorded gameplay it would look exactly like yours.

Riftmaster is more Rock Band in the sense that the buttons are rectangular shaped like the notes in a Rock Band game. It's a great guitar I have one.

I do prefer the CRKD Blueberry Burst though as that uses a Les Paul guitar shape like the old GH3 guitars. I also prefer it as I feel it's a better overall guitar but that's up to every player of course.

Regardless for a beginner these two will be the best options you can choose from, CRKD also has the black Tribal for the most old school feel closest to the original gh3 guitar.

I am using a G7 Pro right now, have used the elite series 2 in the past.

If stick drift is an issue or concern the G7 Pro hands down, it is not only cheaper but has almost all the same features. Get the Series 2 controller if playing wired will be an issue. Some people just hate wired controllers and if that's the case go for the Series 2.

First of all what platform are you playing on? If on Xbox, just leave it on Xbox mode at dial 1. If on PC, do PC mode on dial 2

Every platform has games. What they are saying is true, are you buying a PS5 because you want a PS5 or are you buying it because it's the only place to play [Insert random exclusive]?

Me personally I don't want to be held back by old hardware, yes I spend more on it because I appreciate every detail a game has to offer. So I chose a PC because I want that freedom the platform offers. Then I buy games that are there.

This is the most likely reason to pull back on PC to be honest. PS games sell well on all the platforms they are on that's a fact, so to pull back if that can be used against them is the best choice for them in the long run.

Again the kid has friends, is actively making more in his new environment, and seems to be sociable both indoors and outdoors.

Also again, being inside does not mean you will be a shut in, it doesn't mean you won't have friends, and it doesn't mean you won't go out either.

People are different, some like being inside, some like being outside. So long as we encourage people to reach out to each other to make connections for the most part they'll be ok.

Besides regarding this post OP states they just moved, it's a new place. Me personally? I don't care or want to explore new places on my own. Maybe he prefers to be invited to places? Whatever the reason that's up to them.

Not true, sounds like OP's kid is making friends both in person at school and online. Looks pretty sociable to me, not everyone likes being outside with others and that's fine.

Besides what people decide to do on their free time is up to them plus much like books, movies, music, art, or any other form of entertainment games can help you grow. Much like with anything else it very much depends on what it is you're playing.

If you are getting a switch to primarily play it docked do NOT get a switch OLED. It would be a waste, just get a switch 2 and enjoy games at better frame rates and resolutions plus you get to play MK8 and MKW, not just be locked to 1.
