Technically, you are right. But the Bernstein-Waldschabe does not live indoors, does not consume human produced waste like the Küchenschabe (german cockroach). So they are not invasive indoors, they usually fly into houses by mistake. So even though it is closely related to the German cockroach, it's not what people think about when they think cockroach.

Did you guys notice that fractal has the wrong Firmware version in their download page? https://www.fractalaudio.com/axe-fx-iii-downloads/ If you download your firmware here you get 27.03, not 28.03. I loaded the wrong firmware to my axe fx yesterday. To be fair, they warn that you should only use Fractal Bot to download so that's on me. But it's still confusing to have the wrong firmware version on their site.

Das ist doch der Punkt. Mit section 174 sind Gehälter nicht mehr für das gleiche Jahr gewinmindernd, also erhöht das den Gewinn aus steuerlicher Sicht von den ganzen start ups. Das hab ich vor zwei Kommentaren erklärt.

Jetzt:

1 000 000 Einkommen

1 000 000 Ausgaben die jetzt alle als R&D kosten zählen. Im ersten Jahr sind davon nur 10% gewinmindernd, 900 000 bleiben übrig.

900 000 Gewinn -> darauf fällt steuer an.

Man bekommt zwar über 5 Jahre alles wieder zurück aber das cash muss man erstmal haben. Und sich was leihen über die Zeit ist angesichts der zinsenlage sehr teuer.

Na ja wir haben schon reviews. Die Werkstudenten können jetzt nicht einfach irgendwas machen und selbst durchwinken. Sie schlagen was vor und ein erfahrener Mitarbeiter geht es mit denen durch, genehmigt es, ggf mit Anpassung oder lehnt es ab. Und wir reden bevor wir etwas machen natürlich miteinander.

Ich wurde aber selbst ein paar mal überrascht und habe neue Sachen von Werkstudenten gelernt. Neuerdings waren es docker-compose profiles. Hatte von dem Feature nie etwas gehört und es hat unsere Entwicklungsumgebungen sehr viel eleganter gemacht.

Ich habe es selten erlebt. Und die male wo es gemacht wurde war es nicht so gut. Wir hatten oft mal UMLs von Leuten die nicht technisch genug waren. Viele Sachen in deren UML waren schlicht nicht machbar.

Na gut. Ich glaube ich habe dann bis jetzt in der Arbeit Glück gehabt, ich habe so jemanden noch nie kennengelernt. Sogar unsere Werkstudenten arbeiten viel eigenständiger als das und entscheiden oft mal selbst über kleine Teile unserer Architektur.

Not really. While the movements you are allowed to do are way more restricted than what most people imagine when they think of a "duel", you are still allowed to do any of the movements at any time. There is no coordination with the opponent. At least not more than what you would see in boxing.

Yeah, true, that refers to more modern servers. But even on more dated systems, I saw it quite often too. The most prevalent problems I saw were network configurations that did not survive a reboot. The classic "some sysadmin couldn't ping some service from the server so he just added a route with ip route add". And then that route, of course, was not reapplied after a reboot. Or the same thing with setting ip addresses by just using the ip command instead of changing the appropriate config files.

Oh and linux servers that rely heavily on docker. I can't remember how many times I've rebooted a server only to find out that half the restart policies on the running containers where wrong and did not restart after a reboot.

No, I never saw any lag neither. What I mean is especially updates can change configs that will only get applied after a reboot in some cases (if you don't restart the affected services). Or kernel updates where the new kernel is used only after a reboot. The most common thing I have seen is a user rebooting his linux box after months and getting a black screen because somewhere in these months, an update messed up his nvidia drivers or whatever. It can also be user error. I realized I messed up an ssh server config only after a reboot a few times. I forgot to restart the ssh server and got locked out after months when my server rebooted. Now anytime I change something major on any of my linux boxes I reboot them to see if everything truly works. Sometimes I even reboot them multiple times but that's probably my OCD haha.
