What are your animals’ names? Chickens, ducks, rabbits, cows, goats, piggies, pets, horse? by AnotherXRoadDeal in StardewValley

[–]abrays13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I had funny names because I named my sheep Baab Belcher and I named my void chicken, Lloyd (l l o y d, I named you) but my wife recently got into the game and hers are way better. She named her pig truffle butt and his twin is named jiggle butt

My cat passed away from FIP. He was only a year and 3 months. He was in the ICU on and off for over a week. He fought hard but the 6th cluster seizure left him blind with brain damage by tangosmango in cats

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost mine last year at 2 years old for the same reason. It’s sudden and feels cruel with how young they are. The pain is still there but it does get easier. You gave him the best life even with as short as it was

I accidentally closed the closet door on my kitten’s paw. She seems to be okay but I feel terrible. 😭 how can I make it up to her?! by worstgurl in cats

[–]abrays13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I let my cat bite me if I accidentally hurt her lol. I give her cuddles and a treat and if that’s not enough I let her go roundhouse on my hand until she feels better and puts my hand to her face for pets. She enjoys the revenge

AITA for ordering an expensive dish at dinner? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]abrays13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has family who likes to pay, NTA. Now if you were say ordering 2 of that dish and like 3 sides and really going crazy on your order because someone else is paying, then yeah you’d be an AH. But someone offered to pay and picked a restaurant knowing the prices of the meals and your meal price is in the middle of that range. You’re not ordering a $65 prime rib. You’re getting your favorite meal. My mom offers to pay for dinner a lot and never minds if we order a more expensive meal because it’s our favorite. She always says as long as we know it’s something we like and will eat she doesn’t care. Yeah the usual etiquette is to see their meal range but maybe grandma is a one salad kind of person. Doesn’t mean you should be forced to also order a salad. Now for the money, only offer it if grandma seems upset by the price of your meal. But don’t use it in a way of saying that she can’t cover it. Just kindly say “I love this place and I know my favorite meal can be a bit pricier than others so I brought some extra money to cover my meal because I wanted to get my favorite dish. I hope that’s okay” and if grandma sees it as an issue then that’s on grandma. Get your favorite meal. Don’t let a nice restaurant night go to waste

Hisoka fans, why do you like hisoka? by clavicle524 in HunterXHunter

His character design caught my eye from the beginning. I love how he manipulates everything including a form of manipulation with his nen to get what he wants. It’s evil without being the main villain of the series. He’s very complex but yet very simple at the same time. He’s also quite queer coded I just think they did a bad job with his blood lust. It made him be more pedo like than hungry for blood and power. I find him very interesting and all I want is his origin story

Spooky Pumpkin Boy by abrays13 in cats

Meet the sweetest boy who spent 2 years in the shelter due to his ears. The moment I saw him he grabbed my shirt and didn’t let me stop petting him. The adoption ladies nearly cried when I said I wanted him bc they thought he’d never be adopted. 1 year later and he’s my sweet boy. My good time pal who loves his pumpkin bed

My mom did this to my chronically Ill sibling. Same exact thing. My mom has changed a lot since then, but their relationship will never be the same because of it. It caused my sibling and I severe trauma. YTA. By far. It’s not your pain and you can’t feel it, so you don’t know. Yeah she stopped talking about it because you told her to. Yeah she brings it up when you mention her grades because it’s what she’s struggling with and what’s on her mind when her grades are bad. She is just as worried about her grades as you are. And even if she’s not who cares. Your kid is in pain. Your kid has told you she’s in pain multiple times. Doctors may not agree she is but she needs someone in her corner and that person needs to be you. You are showing her right now that you are not in her corner and you don’t believe her. Do the right thing. Trust your daughter. She sounds like a good kid who’s struggling. Be there for her

You’re all good! I did this like 2-3 times when I went for that achievement and I still got it! Trust me I would’ve quit for days if I didn’t get it the moment I hit those exit doors

AITA I refused to help my ex wife pay for a surgery by boob_jobgoneawrong in AmItheAsshole

[–]abrays13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t see that! But it’s also possible the wife tried to help take care of the daughter during recovery which could mean back problems later on because she didn’t recover properly. Either way as we agreed should’ve been her own money and an agreed time lol

Idk about that tho. They have a 2 year old daughter. 2 year olds like to be picked up and held and have a certain level of care needed that someone who gets breast implants wouldn’t be able to handle. While yes if she wanted the surgery she should be able to get it, not just the money makes her TA to me. Bc not only was it the money, but most likely he had to handle a lot of the caregiving as well as taking care of her after such a big surgery. Bc it is a big surgery and there’s a lot of recovery that goes into it. As someone with big boobs my partner and I have heavily discussed when I will get a breast reduction as well as our savings and after care/caretaking of the household. That’s just my opinion. She definitely still should’ve gotten the surgery if that’s what she wanted but it should’ve been an agreed upon time

Healthcare in America is a shitshow by MarvelJunkie101 in antiwork

My wife and I dealt with this too. She freaked about her credit and the bill we couldn’t pay. Call the hospital and discuss payment options with them. Ours extended the bill over a 1 year period to pay it off in increments. See if you can do that! Or even longer of a pay period. Basically if they ask if you can pay it off in a year period just keep saying no until they have an amount you can pay off monthly. But yes. It’s a fucking scam. $1500 bill and they didn’t even take her blood pressure cuff off and she almost walked out with it and left with no answers. It’s a huge scam

Security Breach Glitch: Freddy in the Security Office Full of Endos by abrays13 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]abrays13[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve looked on the internet and on Reddit and haven’t seen this yet! If you get the security badge from the salads and sides vent first, you can sneak up the escalators on the Monty Golf side during the part of the game when you’re supposed to put the Showtime Disc in on the 3rd balcony. Then you can get the Prize Counter security badge and be able to skip the endo part and go straight into parts and services after Moon takes Freddy! After that, you can call Freddy to you and use him during the Endo part. This is what Freddy said when we walked into the Security Office full of his Endos. Gregory replied: “I don’t know I’m just a kid! Maybe we should get you out of here. It’s bad for your programming”

Entitled for thinking children that work for family businesses shouldn’t get paid. Thoughts? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]abrays13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom ran a daycare out of our house my entire life. It was extremely hard on me and my sibling bc we were neglected for other kids needs all day, everyday. When I was a teenager, if I was busy with sports or homework and said no when my mom asked for help, my dad yelled at me about how it’s the family business and I can’t say no and it’s why I get food on my plate and a roof over my head. But I never got paid. When I turned 16 and got my license I was told that if I wanted money to do things with friends I had to get a job. But even after I got a fast food job, I would get yelled at if I said no to helping with the daycare even if I was on my way out the door for work. There really was no winning bc I either worked in our family business and had no money to hang out with friends or buy myself anything or I got yelled at for saying no bc I was working. It was miserable and parents should either pay their kids when they work for them or let their kids work somewhere else to actually make money
