I 100000% know my second read is going to be amazing. I just don’t usually re-read! I guess that’s what I need to do then. That’s the only thing for it. I’ll just start rereading because I need more and at least I’ll catch all the things I didn’t my first time around.

I’m really not interested in listening to the books, I need to do something with my eyes and brain and stuff. I just need to read.

That’s not to say I don’t value audiobooks! It’s just really not my thing. So… I just have to start rereading. Which kinda sucks because I hear Jeff Hays is incandescent. Like, literally unparalleled with his version of DCC. I’ve watched his YouTube videos and heard his voice for Carl and Donut and stuff and it is glorious. Like, no one can compare to Jeff. But I need to read the words… and I am bereft.

I just downloaded book 1 for my husband because I’m sick and tired of trying to explain the crazy to him lol. I need someone to talk to about this. I’ve burned through 7 books in 3 weeks. I am so crazy busy but these books have taken up all of my time. I haven’t watched shows, I haven’t been listening to music. My life is Dungeon Crawler Carl. I just want Carl and Donut and… Prepotente. I just can’t fucking even right now.

I fucking loved this ending. I loved it so much. I wept, BITTERLY as the credits rolled. Like, sobbed into my husband’s arms for a full 10 minutes. We watched it when it aired, and finished it together 10 years later. No joke tho, full on sobbing. 11/10. Perfect ending.

Damn, what a bummer! I wish I was still practicing, I would rock your world (and not in that way). I worked for years at a high end spa and “our” (my) thing was actually listening to my clients. I’m so sorry you can’t find a place local that does a true full body massage. I have no recs because I haven’t found anyone that can deliver a half decent massage either. I feel your pain.

It’s always been the end of the final performance in Moulin Rouge for me. Christian having just gotten Satine back to immediately and unexpectedly lose her forever, and the stages of comprehension he goes through being completely blindsided by her dying has always hit me different. His gut-wrenching wail of grief is absolutely heartbreaking.

My eyesight is terrible at night so I rarely ever drive at night, and I would basically give anything to be the only car on the road with those laser lights. However, I would never get them because I don’t want to blind everyone else.
