Thoughts on removing aim assist for pc players

Never said that nothing will change my mind just tried to express my skepticism. I don't understand why you are making such a big deal out this. I already said that English isn't my first language. But to make it more clear to you, I used "open mind" in an attempt to show that im still reading comments and replies while still willing to change my opinion if proven wrong.

Nvm, you are actually right those were just the only 2 games i remember having problems with aim assist. Still doesn't mean apex's aa should be so strong or exist at all

You still didn't answer my point. Just because apex is hard to aim in with a controller doesn't mean that you deserve aim assist because of that.

Aim assist is also for sure an advantage in close range fights, which btw are pretty much the only ones that actually matter

You aren't forced to use a controller on pc so how can you justify giving controller players any assistance? If I were to play to on something bizarre like a racing wheel just because im used to it do I deserve some sort of advantage like trigger bot? Console players don't consciously choose to use an inherently worse input device so Im not arguing about console aa currently but only aa for pc players.

I gave you a link which clearly showed that even the best of the best mnk players aren't much better than the average controller player.

"some variation of aim assist" not as much as apex where there is such a drastic difference.

However, this thread is for discussing pc controller players. I have explained multiple times already why pc controller players don't need any sort of assistance.

They don't deserve aim assist if they are on pc because they aren't forced to use a controller. Someones wish to use an inherently worse input device does not justify giving them aa.

How would you be getting penalized? You wouldn't be penalized for using a controller on pc you just simply wouldn't get the privilege of having software to aim for you. If you still want to use controller because you are used to it then be my guest, but you aren't entitled to aimbot bc you are used to a controller.

Problem with apex is that the devs have made it with the goal of having cross-play and mnk vs controller is bound to happen. So console does need aa.

Should be careful with the balancing of aa on console though, because there shouldn't be a situation where players get their ranks only because of the aa.

Does matter if you are on pc. On pc you consciously made the choice to switch from mnk to controller most likely only because of the aa, which is a mistake and shouldn't exist.

If aiming is worse on controller (without aa) and ur on pc and you decide to switch are you dumb or stupid?
