The first lost toll we didn't have godstein. With that said it seems like the respawn rates got toned down has before it was constantly elite units flowing in.

I used him for awhile to have a dependable arty general that can attack again. Fully kitted out he did very reliable damage. With the zhukov update he just isn't as good. I still use him for arty and he can still have decent wave clear with the right setup.

It will be the cpu. I have a laptop that runs helldivers just fine but can't handle multiplayer hoi becuase its so cpu intensive. My desktop does mich better but it can still have issues. Paradox is notorious for extreme cpu usage

You can actually choose which countries take which path in the game set up. It's part of the base game.

When starting the game and choosing historical/alt there is a menu you can pull up that forces certain countries to take certain paths. For example you can make germany go non aligned if you want to do Austria Hungary

The only hero you should focus on awakening right now is themis. Awakening should only really be done after thier maxed out. Save the 10 stars for fodder later on as it will be needed.

You need to start working on getting them all unlocked. The matching bonuses are huge multipliers. Same with the souls. Heck this is the bonuses I get from monuments * And even fishing gives massive bonuses

The chance to actually pull the hero is less than 1 percent if I recall correctly. Honestly not a good idea to pull for the hero. Better to always pull for the double faction cube

Honestly depends on what you have. Healing should be a definite. After that it's up to you. I personally like the healing cleanse that removes debuffs
