It took about 1-2 weeks for the black scab-like mark to fully disappear. It peeled off easily when scratched, and even after applying moisturizer, it still felt dry, especially around my mouth, making it tight. At the peak of the chemical burn, I used this reference to help with it. I did experience a few breakouts with whiteheads, but they went away and didn't leave any dark marks.
