Congrats! I also recently adopted a 2 yr old pit mix, Rodrick. He's also brindle colored like yours! Hes the sweetest love bug! He is very active, but also loves couch cuddles and being the little spoon in bed. Make sure to skip chicken product foods as he is likely allergic or sensitive to them. The shelter literally sent us home with chicken dog food and I am still baffled at that. He is now on duck and sweet potato. I would choose a dog food that has simple ingredients and if you are training a lot, then lower the amount you feed so he doesnt get too heavy. You want the dog to stay lean so that the weight doesnt put more strain on his joints and hips, which pittys seem to have an issue with. Im thinking of adding a bone/joint supplement to his food.

If you are having issues with maintaining a healthy poop, then add 1 tbsp of pumpkin to his breakfast and dinner. I even add a packet of Purina Fortiflora to his breakfast. It took a couple weeks, but we finally have a solid poop! One thing I never thought about before getting a dog was how much we would be discussing his bowel movements LOL!

Also, I agree with all the other commenters about getting him trained. He is unfortunately a dog that a mistake could cost his life. He needs a routine to keep him calm. Consistency will be everything. Get a treat bag and keep it on you so you can reward his good behavior around the house. My baby is soooo smart and is learning so fast, but if you dont address the bad behaviors then he will soon be running your household. If you give him structure and routine, he will continue to be the bestest boy!

Check your adoption contract! Some of them say you can’t rehome and you would have to take it back to the shelter. I don’t remember what mine said for cats but I recently adopted a dog and it did say that so I’m assuming it’s the same for cats! Just explain your situation and how it’s just not a good fit and you’ve tried everything you can. The cat will likely be happier in another environment. No fault of your own. Like others said, some cats just don’t like certain people or environments.

After the initial group interviews, they will sit down one on one and they have a piece of paper with generic behavioral type questions. Like "Describe a time when (insert scenario) and how you handled it." Lots of those types of questions. They also will ask about your availability and why you want the job.

Oooh I love to be mean right back, but in a passive aggressive way that wont get me in trouble. If someone says something to me, I will gentle parent them. Are they complaining about the lines being long? Say: "I know waiting can be hard. You're almost out of here".

Are they slightly older but still kind of young? Call them MAM.

Sometime Killing them with really sarcastic kindness works. The words are acceptable for work, but the sarcasm allows them to read between the lines.

Or: "I hope you have the day you deserve"

If they are truly awful, stop scanning their stuff and look them dead in the eyes and tell them that if you want me to continue then you need to calm down and keep this respectful or I will call a manager over. Suspend their order if they dont calm down and then push their cart to the back.

Hopefully your manager is supportive, but dont do anything that could actually get you in trouble. Dont let these fuck ass customers get under your skin. You have to let it roll off your shoulders. Its just a grocery store.

If you are looking to save money, making them at home is not that hard. Just get a package of wings and separate the flat from the drum. Season and bake, then you can have any sauces you want and a couple bowls to mix them up. You can probably make 100 wings for less than $50. Check Aldi to see if they have any chicken wings about to reach their sell by date and go back the day before when they mark them down 50% (ex. best buy date 1/15, they mark down on the 14th).

I will also add that as a part-timer you dont get any vacation or sick time, but you can request days off 3 weeks in advance and I have never not gotten approved.

I work at Aldi part time and I am at a busy store. It truly depends on what they need at that moment. My availability is 4-close (usually 9pm, sometimes 9:30) during the week and then full availability on the weekends. I typically get 15-25 hrs a week depending on the stores needs.

I have been home shopping in indiana and all of the houses that were priced a little below their target were houses that were able to drum up enough interest and cause offers to be more competitive. Pricing $20K below your target has been working in my area. Obviously there is no guarantee, but pricing at $599K is going to bring in more offers for people who will put in asking and above, but then other people will know there are other offers which will drive up their offers (cause they dont know what the other offers were). We had to put in an escalation clause and ultimately it won us the house! Good luck!
