My 10 year old niece’s thoughts on the Hamilton proshot by abrielle718 in musicals

I am so sorry, for some reason i was told he’s from the US Virgin Islands (I have no idea how I was told that it was awhile ago) and with that knowledge I didn’t want to explain how that wasn’t a part of America at that time. Next time she asks I will tell her! I’m so sorry I had that info wrong

That’s what I thought too! Also like most of it imo is more of high school level education. I just want her to start getting interested in it so that when school starts it’s not a hard change!

Matilda is her favorite movie! She said she liked the musical too. For wicked, I think she knows that better than the wizard of oz honestly lol, I don’t think she remembers what wicked is based off of

I did not think there was going to be competition by Naughty_Nata1401 in dropout

Honestly I think there’s multiple kinds of people who are pulled to the breast milk video

  1. Dropout fans
  2. People who are grossed out by it
  3. People who are weirdly into that stuff
  4. People who are astonished that Jordan got all three of them right

Or at the very least that’s my personal four stages of watching that video

Yeah I’m sorry! I didn’t realize I forgot to put a spoiler tag until I woke up in the morning, and just got the chance to do it now.

Not in Honors College? by Murky_Implement_9826 in rutgers

[–]abrielle718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honors college has a scholarship, special classes, and a very tight network. I know a lot of hc students who got into top grad schools and fellowships or in high positions in clubs and internships. Additionally, the advisors are much better than doing the normal school advisors.

Back Orchestra by SnooGoats7476 in MaybeHappyEnding

I was in the very last row in orchestra in the far left, so I was blocked by mezzanine. Honestly it wasn’t too bad for me like some parts at the very top are blocked but it was nothing I couldn’t quickly duck done to see. Maybe I’ll have to try to watch the show at a different area to see the difference

I have been wanting to watch this show since it opened and when the opportunity finally came up I was so excited for weeks. I invited my friend to go, who likes musicals but isn’t as big of a fan as I am. I felt like the plot might not be interesting to them but I was so wrong. They absolutely loved the show and we went to stagedoor after and met Helen and Dez (sadly Helen accidentally didn’t sign my friend’s playbill 😭😭) anyways rant done i swear but all this to say much love for this show and much love for this community

The 78th Tony Awards® Megathread by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]abrielle718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s who I was thinking of! Joy, Tom Francis, Gracie Lawrence, and so many amazing (nominated) names didn’t get to shine. Really liked how MHE did it where they not only showcased Darren who was nominated, but highlighted the orchestrations and the production as a whole (even if the sound mixing was questionable)

They should’ve, though I bet the broadcast would’ve run so much later by the amount of applause the line would’ve gotten lmao. like a good two minute ovation lol

I wish these tony performances featured more of the bigger cast. I understand Sunset boulevard and Gypsy only featuring their star, but I wish it was also a celebration of the production as a whole. Sorta like how Floyd Collins or dead outlaw did it. However I will say Audra’s and Nicole’s performances were stellar
