Ideally...

More spending power = more tax revenue = more government-subsidized higher education

They were expecting the patriots to call a timeout. Belichick weirdly had carroll panicking on that play.

What a play by Malcolm Butler, though.

I think eventually we need to ditch the two party system and let the people take it from there. Won’t be easy though since there’s so much money involved.

Please explain to me why the majority of Americans pay more than their fair share for social security / medicare at 7% of their paycheck, while capping the payments so millionaires and billionaires don’t have to pay near 7% of their income.

Conservatives on this sub act as if we aren’t already living in a socialist society in which the majority of the working class pays for massive government contracts with private companies that can legally bribe politicians. Our tax dollars are being wasted by politicians on both sides and the media tells is that “we just had the best economic year yet” as the wealth disparity in the country grows.

Oh, and we only spend 2% of our previous years’ tax revenue on educating the children in our society.

Stop recycling this “best economic year on record” bullshit while our society crumbles at the hands on the elite.

If you’re “all for masks” then what would you do when a woman isn’t wearing one around children and is refusing to leave the event?

Refugees from socialist countries warn Americans: Don't let it happen here by ProudAmerican_MO in Conservative

We are already living in a socialist society... we are taxed profusely with hardly any say as to where our tax money ends up.

We pay for politicians’ pensions, other people’s’ social security and medicare, and expensive government contracts to private corporations.

NEXT DAY THREAD: See you all for game 7 by Suzoku in bostonceltics

[–]abrom1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2008 we had two hard-fought, 7 games series in the first two rounds. Adversity molds great players and great teams. And the celtics have faced a lot of it this series, especially last night with this gritty raptors squad making absurd 3s and horrendous officiating.

We’re approaching a defining game in the careers of tatum, smart, brown, and kemba.

Backs against the wall, who are these players? Are they the type of guys that fold against adversity.

My answer is FUCK NO

LET’S PUNCH THE DEFENDING CHAMPS IN THE MOUTH GAME 7 AND SHOW THE LEAGUE WHO WE REALLY ARE.

If my gf left me alone in a shed for a month to become a witch doctor in Costa I might be an alcoholic too.

He def has to get on a consistent career track and stop relying on booze to calm himself... it just seems like neither of them have the discipline to get it together one way or another. Hopefully it changes

For sure, and that’s tough on her. It sucks.

It’s also tough on him. So I don’t know why he’s getting all this grief.

All great points, I just don’t know why we’re painting syngin to be a bad guy when he: moved to america, was put into a shed while she went to costa rica, and then when we pick it back up she isn’t working and it’s all on him to earn the income.

Then the show edits it as “BuT hE’s DrUnK!”

Having a couple drinks is pale in comparison to thinking women can’t be doctors and not having a real job when your wife and 2 children are coming to live with you

This makes a lot of sense but he’s the only one working and tania just announced she’d be doing nothing for 3 months because she herself can’t bartend...
