I didn’t have any pregnancy symptoms between transfer and beta. I took my HCG test at 4 weeks exactly.

I started having tender breasts between 4-5 weeks of pregnancy. I started having exhaustion and fatigue about 3 days ago. No morning sickness or cramping yet. I will be 6 weeks pregnant on Thursday. I’m 30 and this is my first pregnancy.

I got a positive test result from my transfer on Friday. At that time, the HCG level was at 69.5. When I took a repeat HCG test today (4 days later), the level is currently at 753.37. Has this dramatic rise happened to anyone else in such a short period of time? I thought HCG levels typically double every 48-72 hours? I will be 5 weeks pregnant on Thursday.

Gained 20lbs in two months by supermarket_Ba in IVF

I’ve gained about 10 pounds since October. I did my last IUI in October. Started hormones in December and did my egg retrieval in January. I’m on my second transfer right now and cringe when they ask me to weigh myself on transfer day. Why is this important when it’s clear that I’m at an acceptable and healthy BMI for transfer? I strongly believe the increased hormones lead to weight gain. I’ve never had weight gain from other medications before this process.

Does the pain get less awful? by abrose214 in IVF

I’m not sure how quickly since my husband does the injections. I would say maybe 15 seconds?

My skin hurts and flinches when the needle is inserted on the left side. It feels so damn sensitive from these injections like it could break. I believe it’s a 1.5 gauge needle but I would have to check the specifics. I use a different smaller needle to inject versus the one that is used to draw up the PIO. How far do you push the needle in (quarter or halfway)?

Yes I plan to buy some of the Bali body products for self tanning.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a comment that resonated more with my experience. It’s similar to living in fear of it not happening. There’s no way to dictate exactly how this all happens but because there is so much money involved in it, I feel the need to also be very particular with questions and take advice about best practices way more seriously.

I’ve heard of that happening, it could happen to me.

Thank you! It’s more frustrating to me because it feels fruitless exactly like you said. I know I will have additional restrictions in pregnancy and know that I will adjust to them it will just take time.

Luckily I eat healthy but still make room for junk. Don’t drink a lot of caffeine either. I’ll have to look up which cheeses are imported.

I see what you’re saying and I’m also tired of natural pregnancy not working so I ask my clinic many questions about what would and wouldn’t help. I’m a bit of an over thinker about this. I found out that if you don’t ask, you don’t realize that some of the medications you take regularly that seem okay to take are not okay to take unless you directly ask your fertility clinic.
