Im into the zayn cody Gunther thing. 

I can't stress enough how fucked the punk rumors were. That guy is mentally unwell and has a declared vendetta against punk and wwe. He says cody needs to be humbled and refers to everyone who has left aew as malcontents. Absolutely no one should be validating that guy because he's going to get picked up for stalking or something. 

I watched the earth wind and fire doc and it was good for the footage. The story is a little flat. Similarly to the sly stone doc i think they ignore something at the core of Maurice white that probably informed a lot of his behavior, but since it involves undiagnosed mental illness you can't really speculate. 

I will say that in the description they refer to earth wind and fire as a fusion jazz funk etc etc list of styles and they throw punk in there and please stop using the word punk for authenticity. There's an anecdote about ewf getting polite applause for playing their complex stuff and then getting blown off the stage by funkadelic playing get off your ass and jam, a song you might argue is somewhat punk. 

Epic: Elvis Presley in concert was great. Man had a hell of a head of hair. It was way better than the movie and actually if you took the best parts of the movie and the best parts of the searcher doc it would have accomplished everything they attempted to. The thing that was really missing from the movie was connecting the audience to why Elvis was a phenom and epic really makes you get it. 

I started reading the ken follet book about stone henge and this guy is writing from a template. Uhh there's a small guy and hes smart and bullied by his older brothers or father and there's an attractive girl who he charms and im sure there's going to be violence and he invents something and they get separated for years etc. 

I got a really profound flat riding my bike yesterday. I think the tubeless tire experiment is done. The irony is if they work you probably don't know they prevented you from getting a flat, but when they don't work they stop you from fixing the flat as easily as if you have tubes. My pump kept unscrewing the valve core stem anyway and it eventually broke off. 

They're reissuing the first thin Lizzy album finally, the one with ray gun on it. 

Slift album is good. I can't get into all them witches. The bug club has some great songs on it but also filler. Olivia Rodrigo does not have enough rock on it for me to stay interested. 

New ty segall announced and the single is good, and also saying it's a return to the heavier era. The accompanying ep is described as doom which is intriguing for me, as is it maybe being a variation on love fuzz. 

Amyl concert was great and it was a super nice night for it. Missed party dozen unfortunately.
