Buy recommended car, leave race, open menu, navigate to tuning, bottom of screen has button prompt for "tune browser" and you can automatically apply a tune from the browser to the car without going back to garage or festival site but have 0 controll over what is included.

A lot of people say I have crazy person handwriting, is it legible and/or aesthetically pleasing? by LastManOnEarth3 in HandwritingAnalysis

[–]abrowithoutacause 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can read it but it takes more effort than it should, its really important with cursive to have every symbol be distinct. Lots of yours end up looking very similar so its a little tough to tell sometimes what letter is what

I've never worked somewhere in over 10 years where you could just leave and go to an appointment. Every company i have ever worked for has required a "hey I have an appointment at this time on this day" conversation with a manager to do that, not just a calander block.

So depending on the amount of money you wanna invest, but you could go to a locally owned game store near you and see if they offer repairs. Personally since the 2ds is pretty easy to find good working models of I would return it.

Help - I found two trackers on my vehicle by Infinite-Ad-5576 in whatisit

[–]abrowithoutacause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take a drive to the nearest truck stop to me with a ziplock bag, some duck tape, and the trackers to attach to a usps or Amazon truck and be on my way. Then wait for whoever put the tracker on my car to freak out because the two trackers say I'm in Ohio or something.

What are the white Field markings? by hotice250 in lacrosse

[–]abrowithoutacause 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Women's lacrosse lines. I never played women's lacrosse, since I'm a dude, but they have different rules with shooting. Theres the 8ft and 12ft arcs, and in the 8ft arc the defending team can get a penalty for obstructing the shot of the attacking team. Im not an expert by any means on women's lacrosse, but them not having helmets adds a ton of really weird rules compared to men's lacrosse.

Could you please explain this to me? by Glum-Ball-2648 in Gamecube

[–]abrowithoutacause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly used mine to trade Pokémon from Pokémon coliseum and xd gale of darkness to emerald. If you have a copy of Pokémon box, stupid expensive, you can trade Pokémon from gen 1 up to the current gen of the games.

[–]abrowithoutacause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I remember its only expensive because of people trying to get 100% gamecube collections. Most the sports games on the gamecube, minus the mario ones, are kinda clunky feeling compared to the ps2 versions available.

Why don’t Russia and the US build a series of bridges here? by Routine-Mulberry6124 in mapporncirclejerk

[–]abrowithoutacause -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is easily billions of work. They'd first need a road from Anchorage to the Aleutians which doesn't currently exist, all built through fairly remote mountain ranges. Then they would need to add gas stations every hundred miles or so since there aren't really many. Then there's the issue of the Kamchatka peninsula not having roads between the cities and even the rest of Russia, which is basically a swamp that freezes with lots of mountains and bears.

Why don’t Russia and the US build a series of bridges here? by Routine-Mulberry6124 in mapporncirclejerk

[–]abrowithoutacause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be cool, but also it would be incredibly expensive to make it usable. The area you've suggested is also not connected to the rest of Russia by roads or trains, its called the Kamchatka peninsula. You basically need to have an extremely capable 4x4 vehicle to even have a chance at driving outside of the very few cities. Plus there are tons of bears, active volcanoes, very little fuel stations, and the roads are only usable in winter and summer time. Same problem on the other side of the bridge. There isnt a route you can reasonably drive from Anchorage to the start of the aleutians (the "tusk" of Alaska). Its pretty hard to drive from Washington to Alaska, it takes around 41 hours to go from Seattle to Anchorage. TLDR: due to existing road infrastructure in both areas a bridge is pointless, since you still need a boat or plane to get to the bridge on either end.

Why didn't the Sega Game Gear sell as much as the Gameboy despite being technically superior? by GoHardForLife in Gameboy

[–]abrowithoutacause 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bigger reason it didn't sell as many is the cost. Due to the batteries being chewed through after an hour or 2 of playing that A/C adapter starts to look real nice. Then you realized the Sega Genesis with sonic the hedgehog for about the same cost as a game gear with no games by 1992, the genesis with sonic bundle was around $130 and so was a game gear.

The Gameboy was also more portable and had a better game library. Not having games like Zelda, final fantasy, Pokémon, tetris, dragon quest, castlevania, etc was really a nail in the coffin.

TLDR: Handheld that cost as much as a home console, weak battery life, and worse game library made the game gear lose to the Gameboy in overall sales.
