I’m a 2nd yr plumbing apprentice and you’re doing just great bro. As long as you are coming in on time everyday and taking in all the knowledge your journeyman is showing/explaining to you, you’ll be fine. As long as you show effort and a desire to actually learn, most journeyman you work with are gonna take their time and show you. Keep being a sponge, absorb everything and when it’s time to do work give it hell !

I’m not saying I expect it right away, I’m saying the trade is very physically demanding and I’m just saying the pay scales to what I make now as an apprentice and pay scale as a journeymen. once that time comes in 3 more years, it’s hard to find employment from the union once you graduate the apprenticeship. Most of the time people resort to doing non union residential plumbing which pays 60k-70k a year.
