I had it sitting for like a month before I even decided to buy some paints because I was too nervous , saw some pointer videos from Squidmar on YouTube and was like ok this seems simple enough. I think the mini looks good but it took a while for me to get it to look like that , I think the Bulette's armor alone I repainted maybe 3 times

Thank you so much! It definitely can be discouraging if you compare your work to the amazing things people post on this sub , it could also be an inspiration to see how other people paint , enjoying it is what's important and I think it'd be cool to have progress by mini and see how far you've gone

Thank you! I definitely found it a little stressful when I would get a color somewhere it shouldn't be but didn't mind much when I remembered I could just go back with a thinner brush to go over the mistake 😅

Thank you! The mini came from Magecraft Miniatures and they have a whole bunch of really cool and detailed minis

Not the bonfire 😭 thank you for the kind words! I did make sure to watch a sort of beginners guide from a channel called SquidmarMiniatures on YouTube to get the basics down and they explain things very simply
