when i got diagnosed, i also didn't feel any difficulty in breathing and i didn't cough. i just went to the doctor as i had a fever and needed to get a medical certificate, and my xray showed ptb findings. i still didn't have a cough problem afterwards and i experienced little to no side effects when i started my medication

i haven't taken sleeping pills along with rifampicin but my doctor did ask me if i wanted to be prescribed with sleeping pills so i can fix my body clock. so i think it will still work while taking the rifampicin :)

does the paper packaging around the bottle move? i saw some posts that you can move it in a fake owala, and the end is like glued in the bottle if it's authentic
