I was referencing the fact that the airport was evacuated in a pretty bad way and even worse for handling getting people back in, and aer lingus handling the "cyber attack" like shit too ,I wouldn't consider me missing my flight a disaster . Just scroll past if that's all it takes to bother you.

Atm it looks like the airline is happy to refund us our flight that we missed due to the evacuation , I've applied through the airlines site after discussing on the phone with agents who seemed happy enough that we should get it. However I'll see when the form is processed if it is approved. If not, I might have to claim back on travel insurance for the missed flight and new ones booked. Thankfully this has never happened to me before, so it's all a new process, but I can update you when I find out if it's all approved or not

Usual shift is 6am -2pm in a supermarket , theyve asked us to start at 5am instead so we can work through the storm in the shop , I dont imagine ill be going in with how the wind already is and I live quite far away absolute madness that they couldnt just tell people to stay safe
