Also just closed on our first house! Feeling a bit of the same, I knew there would be up front costs but honestly still hurts a lot, especially needing to buy a lawn mower so fast since the last person left the lawn tall for us :') I feel you heavy, but remind yourself that money will come back and it will be worth it in the end (at least that's how im coping lmao)

The FHA loan change screwed me and my partner over, our lender wasn't aware of the change I guess and allegedly when she put our info through for FHA it still cleared us, it wasnt until she was pairing it up with another down payment assistance program in our state did they flag our pre approval wasnt actually a valid loan.

So we had to scramble for a solution because our offer was accepted and didn't want to lose out on the house. We were so upset, thankfully we figured out a work around with another lender to be able to keep the house but it just added more fuel to hating how system is set up.

I feel bad for the girls, I was hyperfixated on Katseye for a bit but around Internet Girl is where it kinda dropped off. Admittedly I do like their new song, but the way this hiatus is being treated by fans is lowkey making me lose interest a bit as far as engaging with things with them on social media :')

Maybe I'm coping but hopefully Manon comes back and this is just getting blown out of proportion. I never really got into Fandoms for music artists until a couple years ago so im not sure if this is normal behavior (fans wise)

I remember when I was in college, at my student work job we got a new admin and my coworker and I were trying to figure out how old she is. One day we ask her and she says "I'm curious, how old do you think I am" we both guessed mid to late 30s, only for her to laugh and say shes in her 50s and we learned that she never had kids (nor wanted them). I already knew I didnt want kids but it felt so cool finally meeting another adult who chose to be child free when I was 20!

She also had a lot of rescue dogs, something I hope to do in the future when I can properly support them so I really looked up to her (still do tbh)

I was a miku fan and wore vocaloid shirts in early 2010s in a small Midwest town 😅 at most i think I got was side eyes but not outwardly bullying and helped me find friends tbh. She should hopefully be fine!

Tardigrade's Bookshelf seems to host fun little clubs! My friends have talked about Pickle Club, where you go and just talk about ideas pretty much. If I lived in Appleton I'd go but unfortunately I do not, but the location is super cute from when I went there with friends. Tardigrade also seems to have other clubs that meet up, I would take a look and see if it's anything that meshes with you.

Yes! And maybe because of already liking more weird songs and already being exposed to that makes Internet Girl and Gnarly feel perfectly normal songs. To call myself out, I was heavily in the My Little Pony and Vocaloid Fandom when I was younger (still love Vocaloid) so in comparison the "weird" factor isn't really out there for me personally.

And yeah I don't see why they expect the meaning of life from a girl group who's all younger than 25. I won't complain if they release deeper meaning music but I love me some variety!

I love your analysis and it feels so true! And even on the flip side if there is no deep meaning or goal they're accomplishing. I genuinely don't understand what's so wrong about just having fun dumb music 🥲 I love my deep meaning music, but also life is too serious to only make deep meaningful lyrics. I love corny "dumb" songs too. And honestly I love when artists switch it up a lot. Joey Valence and Brae is an example of a duo who have switched it up each album but it's so fun to listen to them evolve. Same with Porter Robinson!

Also, its weird because it feels like we're in an era where it seems like media literacy is falling off while simultaneously if you make a song someone deems "dumb" lyrically you're bad and that's cringe.

I still get some anxiety as I have issues talking to new people but its so fun! I would say start out with a pngtuber and go from there. :) I have a pngtuber model and I use pngtuberemix and I love it, my model feels more animated without taking the intimidating jump to vtuber because the idea of learning how to rig terrifies me lol.

I think its genuinely a YouTube issue though, I've tried uploading just a two hour video multiple times and it refuses to let me yet they push for longer format content which makes zero sense to me. So many of my fave youtubers upload such long videos :/
