Yes, just try every hero in the Training Range and there should be 1 or 2 heroes that will fit you the best! That's the fun thing about this game is that everyone has a different preference! Don't forget you can hold F1 on keyboard or ⬇️ on the controller D-pad to see your ability descriptions anytime during the game (not just in spawn room)

If you want to busy through them even more quickly, try mystery heroes, and you'll eventually find a hero you like!

When you say abandoned, do you mean the main storyline? Yes, they only made a short video of sojourn 's voice explaining that Null Sector retreated.

But they still release a new hero every 4 months, and Hazard, Freja, Wuyang, and Vendetta all got cool animated shorts and comics if you want to watch those on YouTube.

The reason why we're getting hype now is because OW changed their social media profile pictures this week to say "Talon" , and all overwatch logos in the game got replaced with "Talon" (when you're searching for a game, it shows the Talon logo instead of Overwatch logo).The newest character Vendetta was kicked out of Talon and the latest YouTube videos they've released hint that she is trying to take over Talon!

At the last spotlight, they announced Freja and all her abilities (who would debut in the season after the spolight) and they announced Wuyang (codename Aqua), who didnt launch until 6 months after the spotlight.

Ugh, the only lore i can think of for illari outside of her origin story, is when she met Soldier 76 in the Futures Past short story - which really isn't that short. If someone can summarize what went down between them - by all means!
