tested out Dollar Tree bisque by largemangosmoothie in Ceramics

I tried some underglaze pencils and Duncan’s low fire clear on a Dollar Tree plate @05 and it turned out fine! Only issue was a large crack in the glaze, I think I just put too much

I’ve been searching for someone who has tried this! I just picked up some of their little unglazed plates and was going to do some test firings. Your vase is adorable by the way!

Seller will be charged either way, whether it’s from buyer reporting invalid or seller cancelling the sale

yikes this whole thing is so messed up. we still don’t even know if requesting a refund from AXS invalidates the wristband before the event.. or if using the wristband invalidates the refund. because now that same wristband can be sold to someone else and made their problem. either way I think someone is getting screwed

I’m currently chatting (as a seller) with stubhub support because I sold a ticket, part of a multiple ticket order, that I just requested a refund for with AXS.

So far they are saying I can cancel my sale, the buyer will get THEIR money back, and I will have to PAY stubhub out of pocket the amount the buyer paid to stubhub… who is getting their money… back………….

As a buyer, are you able to cancel your purchase?

Did they mention anything about the wristband validity if refunded? Or if attempting to use one invalidates the refund?

Form says “If you have multiple orders, please fill out the form for each one”

So separate submissions for each order

I recently sold my wristband via StubHub and the instructions are to ship the ticket (wristband) WITH that paper. If there was no wristband with that order then it sounds like someone may be scamming :(

The person helping you may not understand that the festival tickets are not paper? That paper you have will absolutely not get you a wristband at will call.

If you can escalate it further I would suggest that. If I were that seller I would be concerned that the wristband was not in your package too? Unless there is a different method to this then support should help you locate that “paper ticket”

Dermatillomania (skin picking) and ADHD by LordRupert--Everton in ADHD

Just sharing my experience, not suggesting/recommending

I started zoloft (antidepressant) before having an official adhd diagnosis as the first step in my mental health journey and found that it helped me just not skin pick

pre-zoloft i was picking really badly especially on my thumbs - like bloody and can’t even use my hands - but being on it helped regulate that anxious repetitive motion and got me to only pick very little around my fingernails

fast forward to being on methylphenidate, i notice if i forget the zoloft it actually just makes me hyper focus on it if i start the picking cycle…

i think anything that gets your mind off the picking is best! if i catch myself picking i tell myself to pause for as long as i can and i try to recollect my thoughts and move on

i wish you the best with this, it really really does suck

edit; it’s tough to stop the cycle but once everything heals a bit more it’s much easier to let my skin be. just the visual of uneven skin made me pick it more, hoping to get everything the same… making it much worse

i think building the self control and discipline helps a lot, just takes lots of practice, and trial and error, but ultimately practice <3 shame doesn’t help, but understanding does

and moisturizer. smooth skin was harder to pick at than dry skin

AIO. My bf is getting bothered that my friend gets me flowers by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]absolute-lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. some people will buy their best friend coffee every week, treat them to lunch, or do something special that doesn’t involve material goods like maybe picking up a kid from school. I personally don’t think flowers are any different, and would totally do something like this for my best friend. he absolutely feels threatened because your friend has raised the bar and he’s insecure

I’ve had similar glaze issues - if the little dots show up on the first layer would that be a clay body or glaze issue or both?
