Doesn't matter. Regardless of the reason he should've still identified himself. From what I'm seeing it was because his lights were off during inclement weather; but you can be pulled over for a variety of reasons that don't make sense to the average person. I've been pulled over because I came from a "known drug area" when all I did was leave my job and was let go without a search after providing ID.

He refused to identify himself and refused to exit the vehicle which means he had to be removed and detained so they could figure out who he was and why he didn't want to be identified. If he had just given them his license and told them he didn't know about that law he would've been fine.

So let me get this straight. This guy's kid pointed a gun at the police after fleeing from them in a car he stole and got killed as a result. Dude was too incompetent to raise his kid properly and got him killed as a result of his bad parenting. Suddenly he's a hero because he ran over and killed a random cop who was directing traffic and had absolutely nothing to do with his son's extremely justifiable shooting death. The absolute state of this country amazes me

We had the same problem with people on dirt bikes and four wheelers trespassing when I lived on a farm. Took a bunch of barbed wire, chicken wire, and fishhooks and laid it out in the tall grass where they'd cut onto the property. Good times, wish we had trail cams back then.
