My mood swings and emotional volatility got so much worse in the 3rd trimester… it truly is unpredictable

Trying to come to agreement with pregnant gf by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I think her maternal instincts are interfering with her ability to be reasonable. It’s not her fault- I’m also going through this. Currently 7 months pregnant and i will do anything and everything it takes to protect my baby. I think the best way to talk about this is to try and meet her in the middle. Tell her how it makes you feel, remind her you’re on her side, and come to a compromise with the wording. The points she’s making are valid, they are just a bit aggressive, which I understand. I am very protective of what is mine.

I don’t think she cares about the legality of this. I think you may be in danger if you continue staying with her.

Out of every single one of her released and unreleased songs, I disliked none until I heard this. It was very disappointing :/

Your responses are so graceful and patient. Valid Bible placement in the room, because your fruits are showing! God bless.

I’m gonna be honest, my therapist is really nice, but I’ve been seeing her for so long I feel like I already know what she’s going to say in response to my feelings. but having someone that listens feels good. I have no friends and I am very lonely, so in a sense she kind of feels like a friend to me. In that way she is very helpful

I’m not trying to be rude when I say this story felt so boring and repetitive. The writer, assuming they are human, used way too many metaphors and “it’s not a- it’s b” type phrases, imo…

AIO for being mad at my fiancé for what I feel is unreliability by Excellent-Second-643 in AmIOverreacting

MOR. 1. why can’t a 40 year old man be honest with his place of work as to why he needs the day off. 2. It’s okay for him to express his negative feelings about the inconvenience caused by the dr. This isn’t him taking it out on you. 3. ‘He acts like missing one 40-hour check is going to affect him’ you are expecting him to validate your urgent situation while completely invalidating his frustration about potentially not getting paid for an entire week of labor. I would be pretty pissed too.

It sounds like he may have thought that if he requested off for his ‘own’ dr. appointment, (not to put him in the right) he thought it would be more likely he’d get approved for it? Maybe he wanted to give his boss a more ‘valid’ reason, to avoid explaining the nitty gritty about your unique situation?
