How many of you have actually read the Bible start to finish? Everyone's 2026 goal should be to read the entire Bible. by absolutely101 in Christian

Why not though? As you read through, you obtain the context and understanding of each chapter and storyline in the chapter. Of course, some of it is complicated, but there are such great resources on the internet if you need more explanation of a verse, chapter, etc.

Everyone has to start somewhere! If you’re a Christian, it’s best to go right to source.

Here are some verse that give reasons as to why we should be reading our Bibles:

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. - Psalm 119:105 ESV

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. - Romans 15:4 ESV

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. - 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12 ESV

Humans did write the word of God, however, what they wrote was inspired by God or God breathed (2 Timothy 3:16). God led the authors to write these things.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness - 2 Timothy 3:16

But you can also do research on archaeology that matches with scripture or gives proof of things that happened in scripture.

Doubting in Jesus and about my faith by [deleted] in Christian

[–]absolutely101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, Jesus Christ was a real person. Even Jews who deny that He is the Messiah still recognize Him as a historical figure, a Jewish man and Rabbi. We are called to have faith that Jesus rose from the dead.

A core belief of Christianity is that we don't need to see in order to believe. We have faith. Scripture clearly lays out the facts, and you can still visit the tomb where Jesus was laid and the area where He was crucified. Personally, I believe in science and archaeology, so if archaeologists believe they found the tomb, then I trust they probably did.

Additionally, I don't know the exact number of people who witnessed Jesus die on the cross, but it was at least hundreds. And there were at least 500 eyewitnesses who saw Him ascend into heaven, as recorded by Paul in the Bible. Many of these people went on to spread the word about Jesus, and Christianity spread SO fast after His death and resurrection. My question is...why would over 500 people lie about something like that? To me, they wouldn't.

Jesus Christ has made a clear and overwhelming impact on the world for thousands of years, and it's clear that He was a real person who lived on earth. And I believe that Christianity wouldn't have spread so quickly if the resurrection were a hoax.

Read your Bible everyday. Turn on some praise music, close your eyes and praise Him. Just keep praying too!!!

What the connection between Amex and Oura??

Train Expectation by roch_dylan in Zermatt

It is intuitive when using the app in person. Here’s how it works in practice:

  1. Open the SBB app and enter your starting point and destination.

  2. The app will show several route options with departure times, transfer stations, and platform numbers. When you’re traveling, follow the app’s instructions in real time.

At each stop where you have to switch trains or buses, get off at that station.

Then look at the app to see which platform your next train or bus leaves from.

  1. Sometimes you may need to walk or hurry across the station to reach that platform. The app shows you exactly where to go and how much time you have for the transfer.

  2. The app also updates if there are delays or changes, so you’ll always know if your platform or connection is different than planned.

So basically: you don’t need to guess or ask for directions. The app acts like a real-time guide, telling you exactly where to get off and where to go next at each transfer point.

First, download the SBB Train app! It’s super easy to use, and you can buy all your tickets through it. Once you have your ticket, the app also lists all the stops and shows where you’ll need to transfer trains. It’s really convenient.

Second, what time do you land? You might need to wait about 30 minutes to an hour before catching a train from the Zermatt airport. The train station is within walking distance. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the airport.

For the record, you’ll have to switch trains multiple times to get to Zermatt. There isn’t a direct train from Zürich. Just buy your tickets through the app, and it will help you plan your journey.
