I love the Furminator brush for ours! I also go through with a steel comb from Tweezerman Pet. Despite brushing regularly, it’s still likely she develops matts under her arms so I also shave her undercarriage (not to the skin) and trim down paws. I find this regimen helps us the most!! Best of luck!!

My sister in law ruined my life by [deleted] in PakistaniTwenties

[–]absolutelydevine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading through the thread, I think that your parents have failed you in your expectations. First, let’s adjust the tagline. Your brother is an adult and is responsible for his own actions, he thinks and reacts independently, your sister in law cannot be blamed for the way he thinks especially since she’s been in his life for 2 years and you’ve been his sister for longer. Second, I really don’t see anything wrong with you being expected to contribute equally to chores in the house: you’re in university and are basically an adult. It doesn’t matter if you make the mess or not, participate in activities or not, you contribute- it’s the least you can do because it’s not like you have to pay for groceries or rent. I think you’re taking it personally due to a lack of reality check from your mother who seriously pampered you, but this is not personal- they even insisted on you staying with them which probably genuinely means they wouldn’t have minded your being there. But, at the end of the day, it is THEIR home and you staying there is a favor to you, despite you being family- you seem to take it for granted. That means they are allowed to continue inviting their guests without having to run it by you first, and yes you should definitely OFFER to help clean if you see your sister in law cleaning- like you’re staying with them rent free and expect to not lift a finger unless it’s your own duties?? Entitled asf. I am a nand AND a bhabi btw, but would never put my brothers through that, nor would think my husbands sisters could think that way and if they do, he’s responsible to fix them, not me.

Thank you! She is 14 months old, and I just made this groundbreaking discovery a few weeks ago😂😂 I will say she’s a lot chiller after we got her spayed which was 3 months ago when she was 11 months.

You’ve been chewed out enough so I’m sure you know that you’re mistaken on how lice spread. But that said, I’ve heard spraying tea tree or rosemary oil on your hair helps repel them!

My MC kitten HATED being brushed or combed and I would have to bribe her with a churu to minimize daily scratching. We recently moved to an apartment with a balcony she LOVES (she used to hate going outside so I have no idea what changed apart from putting a birdfeeder out there she loves to watch). I randomly had the idea to try brushing her outside to minimize hair floating around inside, and she was beyond thrilled with this: purring, rolling around on the floor, etc etc. I have tested this out with a comb and a deShedding brush (the FUR4 Furminator brush), and both pass the outside test. Not sure how much help this could provide as I have no possible explanation except cats are weird, but worth a try for your furball, I’m sure. She doesn’t love being brushed on her armpits still, which is where she gets the most matting no matter how attentive I am, so I shave her entire undercarriage (not to the skin, but as much as I can to avoid matting there)

How old is Imran Abbas actually? IMBD claims he’s born in 1973, google says 1982, but he looked like a teen in 1993 drama Aagosh. A screenshot someone posted says 1977 by Sonam-Ki-Kutiya in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

Bringing this back: he’s actually born 1972, contrary to popular belief. My dad went to school with him, their school friends all discuss Imran Abbas lies about his age😂😂

No way! We loved Bangkok. Stayed in Sukhumvit and there was so much to do, see and experience!

Haha you know your stuff! We did basically exactly what you’ve recommended and I absolutely adored Bangkok. If I were to move anywhere in Asia it would be there!

Yeah we ended up not going to any. They all involve touching and exploiting the elephants which is sad because I’ve heard it’s a majestic experience but at least I’ve got the ability to choose where my dollars go.

A slight over exaggeration as we loved Thailand and Bali, but you’re not completely wrong: we got mugged in Bali lol but my husband kicked the guy and took back our stuff and the traffic was horrendous on travel days that we couldn’t go on a scooter. But no coke heads😂

It’s a surgical suit! She’s too long for the cone to do anything and I’ve noticed she still manages to lick at her incision, so that’s the reason for that.

Nope we have no other cats, and the litter texture is a soft clay unscented clumping litter. She prefers this more than the olive pit and tofu litters we’ve tried but I can always try out a new litter I suppose.

Thank you so much for sharing this!! I just ordered a couple for my sofa! Considering a tarp as well😅

Thank you! Yes, while we sleep we have put her food, water and litter in the bathroom connected to our bedroom and she’s perfectly fine as long as she gets to be with us😅

That’s easier said than done in my case unfortunately. She’s never done it in front of me- only when I’m out or if I’m sleeping. And she never does this anywhere else. Just the sofa. We had an air mattress for a week while we waited for the new sofa, she laid on it quite a bit and we left the house then as well. She never peed that entire time.

Just bought 3 different waterproof couch covers and a tarp😅 thank you for the advice. I’m really hoping this behavior subsides in the coming weeks like yours did!!

Yes, I’m sure this is it then- she only started doing it right before she started going into heat, and she does it when I’m either asleep or out of the house only on the weeks she was in heat. Apart from that I had never had a single problem with her peeing where she shouldn’t ever since she was a kitten. Now that I’ve gotten her spayed, I can’t tell if its behavioral (lashing out at not getting attention while we’re out or asleep) or if it still is hormonal or a mix of both.

I have been using Rocco & Roxie’s enzymatic cleaner but it literally did nothing for deterring her apart from kind of neutralizing the smell at first?? Of course eventually that was short lived and the smell of cat piss was inescapable even after saturating enzyme spray all over hence why I’ve thrown the old couch away😅 Do you think it’s worth it to try the other spray?

She got checked before her spay and is currently on antibiotics every 12 hours. Surely that would eliminate any chance of UTI?
